LuminarcArc International Quadro Fridge Jug with Lid 110cl, 1 Jar

Before purchasing this water jug, I would reuse plastic water to keep my mineral water chilled. Shock shock, plastic bottles are designed to be for one use only. I knew it was time to look into glass jugs for my needs. This Arc International Luminarc Quadro Fridge Jug with Lid 110cl, 1 Jar fit the bill for me. It is well made, sturdy easy to clean and fits into the bottle shelf of my fridge perfectly. The plastic top opening needs to be poured at a certain angle otherwise you get some spillage. As you can not fully close and secure the top, I have to add some cling film to stop other smells from interfering with the taste of my mineral water.

Love this jug! Fits in my fridge door, but still holds a lot. It'd glass and quite thick. The only 'critisism' I have is the lid is a little fiddly and can pinch when you snap it back in if your not cearful. But otherwise I love it!

I use it to keep my tap water cold and it’s a perfect size to keep in the fridge door. Not too tall or wide. The only negative is the lid does drip a little when pouring, but if you angle it a certain way then the extra drips can still fall in your glass not all over the work top. The lid needs fingernails to pull off each time you want to fill it up or clean it, but in terms of price and quality of the glass jug, I’m happy with it and the lid is only a minor issue. I’ve had so many jugs that are far worse, so this is actually the best glass jug I’ve found. I fill it up 3x a day to ensure I drink enough water and it feels nice to hold and looks good. Been using it every day for over a month and overall, especially compared to the previous ones I’ve used, I’m really pleased with it.

Love this! Just the size of a one-litre carton of juice or milk, this fits perfectly into my fridge door without taking up too much space. I put tap water in and then put it in the fridge so we've got chilled water on hot days. I like to put some mint leaves and a slice of lemon or orange in, and it's really nice for that.It's really nice quality and looks attractive on the table. The plastic lid is white and can be left closed or opened for pouring. When its closed, it's not completely airtight, but it does keep 'fridge smells' out.Because this is made of glass, I don't have to worry about any of the chemicals that can leach from plastics, and it also doesn't absorb any of the flavours of what's in it and can even be put in the dishwasher.

I needed a jug for storing my milk in the fridge door. The milk we drink is unhomogenised whole milk from organic grass fed cows (they are only milked twice a day) and it doesn't come in a bottle. I buy one litre per week and I store it in this glass jug for the week. It stays fresh and is easy to pour. You can twist the plastic lid around to close the gap when you're finished pouring. It doesn't have an airtight seal on the lid but I don't think that's needed. I love the design and style of the jug, it's very well made and sturdy. Highly recommend for milk, juice or water.

The jug was described correctly- glass with a plastic lid- and I read the varying reviews about the lid and decided that it couldn’t be that bad so went ahead and bought it. The negative reviews were right for a change because the lid is awful! It doesn’t fit so there’s no seal and it doesn’t pour well either. A shame because it’s a nice jug and fits the fridge door well which is just what I needed. I use the lid as a sort of ineffective stopper but that’s all.

I have broken so many glass jugs while washing them until I came across this one when I was in Hong Kong. I was very glad that I have found this jug here in England. It is tough, good design, functionable - no drip when pouring out - it fits perfectly in the fridge door and it's not expensive.
