Dedicated MiniPC for digital Movie Poster Board
Running a project to convert "analog" backlit 27x40 movie poster board to a digital setup utilizing a vertically mounted Samsung "The Frame" TV. The MeLE Fanless PC is the "brain" behind the digital poster board. The main requirements behind the "brain" was to be able to display 4K movie poster content served up wirelessly over the internet in a quite reliable manner. The MeLE is a small form factor running Windows 11 Pro. The 16gb of ram is more than adequate to support Windows 11 Pro tasks. Have not experienced any issues with the on board video or wireless capabilities. This product has more than met the requirements set forth for purchase.

Mixed feelings, not bad.
This thing is about $50 more than any regular n100+16ram, which has a fan. The N100s are faster and while at the same time use less power. And if you wanted to get a fanless n100, the MeLe is only $30 more. So it just makes sense to pay a little more and buy the newer fanless version. This machine works fine, but it does get insane hot. You all know that the death of any electrical component is excessive heat. If you intend to use this for gaming, it will die a quick death. Something inside is going to burn up and fail, including the SSDs. If you plan use this passively, it would be fine.My solution was to buy a usb pc-fan to put on top of it. The new external fans have 3 speed settings and it keeps it very cool. The downside is that it is no longer dead silent. The Mele Fanless is truely a silent machine, but you all should consider just getting a regular miniPC that isn't fanless. This case is just a giant heatsink and does not do a good job of cooling, it just gets hotter and hotter and hotter.

USB started failing before 1 year
Could have been a good unit, always had problems with USB making keyboards and mice run jerky, but then the ports started failing one by one. Down to just 1 now and can't trust this unit as I have a huge drive attached via USB and this unit requires a usb keyboard and mouse due to it's location.Much faster and more reliable units available...

Use instead of Dell Micros
I put one of the 8GB versions these in a conference room months ago. Fine for low use, but just slightly slow, and time is money, so I only bought the one. But this newer model has 16 GB RAM, which I feel is needed for Windows 11. It comes with its own bracket so it can be mounted on the back of a monitor and free up precious desktop space. I'm going to put some of these in our production areas at standing desks and see how they perform, and if they last. At less than half the price of Dell micros, no cooling fans, already loaded with Windows 11, I have to try them.

Great mini PC
I love the fact that it's totally quiet. I run Ubunto on it and it's great. I used the Windows 11 Pro license that came with it for a virtual machine (Parallels on a Mac).

Great Mini Computer
I got this mini computer specifically to run a telescope remotely using Remote Desktop connection. It worked perfectly. I could not be happier.
