I received a pre-owned pen that would not pair. The Pair LED never turned on. The only "return" option Amazon offers on this item is to refer you to some help link that is subscription only. Not HP at all. DON'T BUY THIS , IT'S a SCAM.

They are pretty accurate.
I needed to show our property managers that the heating system was not working properly. These allowed me to measure the temp throughout the day at various places in the office. They worked great and were effective in showing the manager what I was talking about. The HVAC person said they measured pretty accurately, compared to his hi-tech equipment.
