Updated Review: The door lock works good. Sometimes it won’t read your fingerprint on the first try. The trick is to place your finger on it firmly for 1 second. I tend to put my finger on it with not a lot of pressure/force for half a second, which isn’t enough time for it. It needs longer to read your print despite what it advertises. You should also add multiple fingerprints to its memory for the same finger, and at different angles. One huge flaw I discovered is that it won’t unlock on low battery. There was no low battery warning despite what’s advertised. It just will read your fingerprint, give you a successful green light, and the motor just won’t unlock the door. So if it’s not working suddenly for you, just change the AAA batteries. I got rechargeables to save time and money.Old Review: I have to reset it multiple times a day. It won’t remember my fingerprint. I have to keep adding it. It remembers my key code indefinitely however. Every time I use my thumb, it beeps but doesn’t unlock. Then it blinks blue. I add my thumb print again and it works for a few minutes. Then it won’t work again. Also, when it was fully functional, it took about 3-5 tries before it recognizes my thumb print. It’s not instant like advertised. The WiFi version is much better. I had no issues with that one because I guess the thumb prints are stored on the cloud. However; it still takes 3-5 tries before it recognizes my thumb. I also added multiple angles and positions of the same thumb but it still doesn’t recognize it first try.

So basically I’ve had a fingerprint door knob from this company for about over a year now and I was moving so I took it apart and lost a piece I needed so I emailed there customer service and within 24 hr got an email back asking what part and within 2 days was already shipped to me by just filling out simple info on the product. Besides the great customer service the product itself just truly speaks for itself. It’s reliable and honestly you never have to change the battery I’ve never had to change mine to this day. The price you pay is definitely worth it for what you receive. Installation is so simple you could do it with one hand. Installation guide is very specific and helpful to any situation that may appear. 10/10 would recommend this company/ brand.

When it worked, it worked extremely well, but sadly that did not last. After constant use, perhaps 3 to 5 times daily, literally 11 months later, it just stopped working. When I took it off the door to investigate, the actual connection from the handle to the board with the battery, was completely detached. Very disappointed and of course I'm sure there is no warranty for replacement. Waste of money...

I’ve had this door knob since 2022 and haven’t needed to change the batteries or charge itIt’s was fairly simple for me to set it up and haven’t had a single problem with it sinceI think the only times it wouldn’t read my finger prints is right after a shower or after washing my handsAnother thing to note is that the beeping when you unlock the door is fairly loud but you can turn it off without a problem I just prefer to hear the sound than to notI definitely would recommend this door knob!

I’ve been using this for a few months and it was never perfect— like I would have to put my finger down multiple times as well as hold it for a couple seconds for it to recognize my finger… I never could get the passcode to work either— however, a few months later it doesn’t lock at all. I was always afraid of it just staying locked at some point bc of the general jankiness of it so I guess not locking is better than not opening and having to call a locksmith!! 🤷‍♀️Also, can’t tell when the battery is low at all…Installing it was the easiest part haha
