Perfect fit for Honda HRR2169VKA
Works great! Fits my old Honda HER2169VKA mower perfectly. I decided to not pull it up to the easy reach position because I keep it outside and didn’t want the recoil string to be exposed to the sun. I did initially pull it up to it and it was fine but decided against it. The last one rotted. The mower is a tank and starts on the first pull. This is a great replacement part.

Great price / fit
Rest price. Had to replace my old one cause the cable broke. You really can’t beat the price. And next day delivery with prime? Part was a perfect fit and my lawnmower is up and running running again. Buy it without hesitation.

THE FIT
I could not say about, easy to install because the Honda part GCV 160 did not mount up on the engine the mounting holes where to small and did not fit. That being said, i had to return the Honda part GCV 160 for a return. MREARLSC 2/1/22

Minor Modification Required
This is a follow-up review. When installing the product I found the mounting holes are not quite the same. The original part had holes 7/16" and the replacement part had smaller holes 11/32" requiring them to be drilled out. Once installed, the unit performed well. Therefore a drill and 7/16" drill bit will be required for installation.

Easy and very effective
I read some of the negative reviews and discounted them as either not knowledgeable of their lawn mower type or mechanically inept. No Starter is anything but high quality plastic as metal won't function. Installed in a minute and my mower was like new with easy pull; whats not to like?

Poor quality
Mounting holes are the Sri g size and do not align with the original part. You will have to drill the appropriate size holes

Gets the job done, not a perfect fit
It works and fits on our Honda mower, but not 100%. It was slightly too big and so didn’t completely fit. It works and starts just fine, the problem is when it’s running is sometimes makes a rattling sound because the rope didn’t go all the way back in. A little bit of a nuisance, but it’s getting the job done. I may one day just take the string out of this one and install it in the old cover that came with my motor. But that’s the whole reason I purchased this, so it was easier to install than buying new string.
