Lovely creative gift for 8 year old

But disappointing for my daughter - bought for father's day present for them to do together and doesn't come with all of the pieces you need for the builds - just some basic pieces for some of them. Not used much as pieces aren't there and would need buying separately. Little overpriced for what you get!

Daughter loves this. It’s nice and compact so you can take it anywhere. Great for long journeys.

This is amazing and with a 100 different things to make will keep children entertained for hours

My son was very excited to open this but was extremely disappointed to find that there is barely any Lego inside and you can only make a couple of the models inside the book. Very very misleading and disappointing!!

Daughter was given this as a gift. Took it on holiday with us, only to discover the kit only contains a few Lego pieces, meaning you can only make 2 tiny models. The front of the box is very misleading. We had no idea until we opened it that you need your own pieces to make 99% of the models mentioned in the book.

My son was given this for Christmas. He loved reading the book itself, but was very frustrated and sad that you can in fact only build the Hippogriff OR Hedwig from the small number of pieces included. He has built the owl and is very pleased with that, but still sad that he can't make any of the other ideas, as we don't have any of those pieces.Not recommended for children who love bespoke kits. Probably great for children who happen to have all the right pieces needed...
