I am a HAM radio enthusiast and these are not quite Radios but they are great Radios. Zello is one of those companies that actually GIVES you something for no money. Having this ANYSECU Radio Device and Cellphone Device combination is just right for having and extra phone line with you when traveling, is GSM based (other options available), Android, Play Store stuff. This would be a great Radio for Truck Drivers, Campers, Inshore Boats, Etc. This thing is solidly built, easy to configure and operate and Is fun to use too. Thank You AnySecu.

So, knowing this this is basically a cell phone hiding inside a mobile radio frame, my expectations were not too high. BUT, for doing Zello, EchoLink, or other PTT software it’s truly a win.I installed the mount above my truck radio on the dash and it actually works well placed there. No worries about high power battery leads with this radio so a simple cigarette lighter adapter works perfect.I find myself using it in the home ever since getting it however. For EchoLink nets it is the perfect fit. Just wire it to a 12vdc wall adapter. I used plug ends so I can quickly move it back to my truck for mobile.One thing of note, DroidStar didn’t want to load on this device even though it will install. So no DMR yet. And, google maps doesn’t seem to work. Just use something like the OsmAnd gps app instead and you’re good.To be honest, overall I’m impressed and surprised I find myself defaulting to it as opposed to my stack of other choices. Sounds great! Give it a shot. Might just surprise you too.Btw, with a valid sim, it’s a full blown 4g phone too.

Pro's : Radio works fine. Easy to set up.Con's : Parts missing. No DC power cord. Missing mounting knob.

Mine arrived with a recorded female voice saying parameter error and doesn’t allow the PTT microphone to transmit on the Zello app

This network mobile radio is surprisingly well built and works well on all of the radio-over-ip networks I've tried it on. It works well on EchoLink, AllstarLink (with the dvswitch app and a properly configured AllstarLink server), and Zello. I'm very satisfied with this unit and would purchase it again.
