Q: I'm going to call bs on this unit drawing 600w at 12v. that would be 50a on a power port that is fused at 20a max. timothy wayne goins?

No idea where you got 600 watts from to begin with. Says nowhere on Amazon or the package. It draws approx 86 Watts cooking and 35 watts keeping warm. Amazon website says 75watts. Pls check your facts. This unit works very well even with a power bank

Q: What happens when it doesn’t turn on at all?

I know my key had to be on the accessories settings or my car needs to be running check out your lighter plug and make sure it works.
