Perfect fit well made

I brought this to fix an issue with my window not lining up when close (the seal part) as I’d read online that this was the issue. The product arrived and after a few YouTube videos I was ready to make my first attempt to install them. For the price the kit included everything I needed so I was happy with that as they are very well priced compared to others I’d found online and was very easy to install. They have been installed for a few months now and are still working well. Would recommend.

Great Item. Easy to replace old worn out hinge. Window had a gap due to the hinge being worn/bent. After replacing (Videos on YouTube will assist if you don't know how) Window now opens and closes nice and easy now with a nice snug fit.

Never changed hinges on uPVC windows before & had v low expectations of success! Watched a brief YouTube video & everything worked first time. Amazing!! Hinges perfect for the job - used the packers on the window side, not the frame side of the hinges, as this coincided with how previous hinges were fitted. Had to drill new holes for all 6 screws in the window (you just need to take the time to ensure that the top (plastic) part of the hinge is in the correct position before drilling new holes. Top & bottom holes aligned on frames so all good. One small piece of advice - the hinges aren’t supplied with self tapping screws so keep the old screws & re-use. Window closes perfectly. Great value & fit. Hurrah!!

Strongly avoid! You’ll be sent a different product to what’s shown here.- The end caps are plastic- The design is completely different- It came down without packaging, just cellotaped badly together- Came down bent, greasy and scratched… probably a return?Unfortunately on top of that the hinge doesn’t actually work; will need to be scrapped.

Updated, I was absolutely furious with these hinges, an easy job turned into a nightmare, I spent hours faffing about with them trying to make them fit, and all because one hinge was opening the wrong way which meant it wouldn't possibly fit, however, I have spent a few hours studying the hinge and forced it the other way it then appeared to be correct, I think in my younger days I would have sussed it out quicker but reading other reviews which said "they had only one hinge or things missing, I presumed I had been sent two top hinges but this wasn't the case one had been forced the other way so it opened the wrong way but I forced it over the top and it then opened the correct way, I'm only explaining this, maybe at the cost of looking stupid, so nobody else will be stumped by this, but having been a builder for many years and having done these hinges in the past I should have known better, the hinge quality is adequate and appears to be the usual bad build with plastic runners that will inevitably break at some point as they all do which is the reason they need to be replaced.

Good replacement for old hinges that weren't closing properly. New screw-holes didn't exactly align with old, so it was a but fiddly to get right, but works perfectly. Opening angle is much wider than previous, easier access to exterior of pane for cleaning.
