I vividly remember being in 5th/6th grade (in the early 90s) and using the Uniball pens that had a clear barrel so you could see the ink in it. After all this time, I still love these pens!! They last a long time, so I don't have to worry about ink running out any time soon. I love that they are retractable and the grip at the bottom makes it very comfortable to use for a long time.I use these for just daily, normal variety stuff, but especially for doing zentangle art. It is exceptional for zentangle art and doodling. The lines are always consistent too. I especially like that this particular set has 3 different colors of ink because they have been put to very good use! And considering the great deal I got, I can't recommend these enough!!

Love these. They write smoothly (not dried out or scratchy at all), the colors are vibrant, and the medium .7mm tip is perfect for everyday use.A few notes that might be helpful to you, as these weren't clear from the amazon listing during my time of purchase (summer 2024):-- Re: the color assortment, I ordered two packs listed as "Color: Fashion", and the ones I got in fact matched the listing photo of 3 black pens, 2 blue, and 1 red. I was concerned they'd mixed up the names/photos and I'd get fashion colors as the name implied, but I in fact got what the pictures showed. This was confusing because the listing also has an option for "Color: Business", which is accompanied by photos that show pens in all different rainbow (fashion?) colors. It seems they mistakenly switched the names of each set (Business should be black/blue/red; Fashion should be the various rainbow colors -?).-- As with many gel pens, the tips of these are covered with a plastic 'nub', to prevent the ink from drying out; you have to remove it completely (can just tug it off) before using. Or be like me - try them without removing the nubs, and think the #@@# pens write horribly and scratchy and are old.At less than a dollar a pen, what I paid, these are a steal.

I love a good Uniball pen! These write beautifully, my only beef is I wish the very top, that you push to engage the pen, was the color of the ink, rather than the "clip" showing the color of the ink. I typically keep my pens in a cup and like to grab the color I am looking for. I work in Accounting and use red, green and blue a lot for different functions. I'd say the value is decent for these pens, they flow nicely and don't cause bubbles or blobs. I would buy again if the changed out the function I mentioned. If not, I'll find another that at quick glance will show me the color of the pen.

The ink is a gel which makes it hard for checks to be “washed”. It’s a good quality pen & writes smoothly. . I’ve bought this previously in a 4 pack of black ink. This time I wanted pens in a variety of colors including blue, red and black so I purchased a pack of 6 and split it with a friend. I keep the blue & black pens in my checkbook and use them only to write checks so each pen lasts about a year. The red pen I will use for writing other things because I like the look of the gel ink.

I love everything about these pens. Can't think of a single negative to warn about. They're worth every penny‼️😍

We still write a few checks and this resists washing and rewriting of our checks. Writes well. Dries quickly!

Just did not like the ergonomics of the barrel of pen. I can feel where the rubber and plastic meet and on the conical tip there is a lip. All kinds of ridges and lips. The shape of the barrel. I prefer I guess barrels on pens to be like the papermate inkjoy gel pen or the pentel kuro pen or the tul pen. Where the barrel is even thickness all the way to the tip practically and totally smooth all the way to the tip. Do not feel any lips ridges or contours.
