These are great.
Unless you're an avid guitar player or enthusiast. You will probably like these. Even some pros like them, actually a youtuber reccomended them. I had an old junky SG special. Cheapo, that had been sitting in my storage for a couple decades. Only reason I kept it, is the sentimental value. It was one of my bands very first guitars, and it is the one we would use to hype up shows. Back when destroying equipment was cool lol. It had been torn apart time after time, set on fire, alcohol and other drinks spilled on it, used as a mallet, been stabbed, and one time was even attacked with a hatchet. I tried uploading a pic but it kept failing. Anyway, the SG officially stopped working at all way back then. And parts had been stolen off it. Total useless, broken, mess. The other week after watching some guys on youtube with similar junk sentimental guitars, I was inspired to get this one put back together, in a functional state, and display it in my house. Got some wiring/pots/switches here, got these pickups, got some other missing parts from the local Earle Teat music shop. Blank nut, hardware, strings, etc. Put the guitar all back together in a relatively short time. My first time soldering thin gauge wire on equipment. Got it all buttoned up, wasnt sure what I was expecting. But plugged it into the marshall amp, and I was blown away. It sounded brand new, if not better. No humming, popping, noise. Clear tones. Better than I ever remember that junk SG sounding. So yeah if you want a cheap and surprisingly good sounding way to bring back a guitar, or just need some cheap backup pickups. I actually really recommend these.

I think we're all in agreement
These pickups are freaking awesome for sis so cheap as they were I can't believe the sound they have they're great they're crunchy when I turn on my overdrive they sound excellent through my Marshalls you would never know that they were as cheap as they were these definitely should be $100 pickups. I would like to say though that the wires are a little bit thin kind of hard to strip because they're so thin without ripping both the negative and the positive wire however it was doable I did it you know I just took some extra care and I was able to get it done and these were extremely easy to wire they're extremely easy to fish through the holes in the body of the guitar they were excellent guitars pick up only thing is they both were a little bit long so I had to cut them off other than that you know wow I'm probably going to buy some more for another guitar

Worthless - But Then...
E A D G B E good on neck pickup - E dead on bridge pickup. Thank God they're cheap because I can't return them. I threw away all the packaging with the UPC code. At least they're headed for recycling. I'd have been better off spending a few more bucks. UPDATE: I noticed the first E string pickup pole piece was much lower than the others, so I jacked it up - a lot, in fact much higher than the others - and it's OK now (barely). But, one shouldn't have to do that. Maybe I just got one bad pickup, but I can't complain for the price since it works fairly well now.

They sound good
Install went easy very impressed with the sound quality maybe it’s the ceramic magnets I’m not sure but it’s smooth and sweet and cheap! Great deal

Great pickups for the price!
The media could not be loaded. These pickups are really awesome, especially at their price point. They look really cool also, red and black is my favorite color scheme! The drawbacks I encountered were that they didn't quite fit in my Ibanez RG, the screw holes on the rings didn't line up with the ones on the body of the guitar so I had to drill new ones. The bottom where the height adjustment screw threads in was like 1/8" wider, so I bent the metal sides a bit to get them to fit in the cavity. Both plastic rings were fairly tall but the bridge ring was very tall, and the e string touched the pickup even in the full down position, so I just used my old one and it worked fine. Also, they only have one lead and a ground, which means no coil splitting. Unless you want to take them apart and install a 2 or 4 lead wire, that is. Even though I had a few issues getting them to fit, once I got them in there and soldered them to the switch the way I wanted, they really did sound good. I'm sure there's a few guitars these would fit perfectly into with no modifications, but I wasn't so lucky. I would still recommend these for someone on a budget that's needs pickups for a new build or replacement like I did!

Only one pickup worked
I build my own guitars , cut my own pickguard . Checked both pickups before installing, the bridge pickup had no continuity so I ordered a different set from another company and used the neck pickup. Definitely should check function before installing
