No audio outputs at all
I had my AV amp connected to my TV via a single HDMI cable. To use this box I put it in series with the AV amp (using the AV amp's HDMI output that had been driving the TV) and took a second HDMI cable from this box to the TV. This box not only did not produce any audio outputs at the RCA phono connectors but it also stopped the HDMI audio from reaching the TV. NONE of the outputs produced any sound in any format. It was not the second cable causing the fault.
