Good value for the money. Few minor issues with directions though.
I read many of the reviews on multiple play sets before purchasing this one. Overall, this play set appears to be good quality and durable. Obviously, I have only had it for a short time, so I am only giving it four stars. The set came in three different boxes. It is definitely easier to put together if you open up all of the boxes and lay out the pieces in the yard. The cedar wood smells and looks amazing. It does seem flimsy when putting it together because it is such a light wood. You do have to be careful not to over tighten or be too forceful, as it will cause the wood to crack. Once it was all together though, it is quite sturdy. The instructions were overall easy to understand. Some of the diagrams in the manual could have been better though. It took some time to figure out the exact way some parts were meant to go because of the instructions. The biggest problem we had, and other reviews mention this, is the fact the parts and boards are very poorly labeled. The labels are not stickers like most products. Instead, they boards and parts are labeled by stencil. So part number “B5” has B5 noted on it in ink. This is great because it will come off once the play set is set up. Basically, it would quickly wash off during rain and fade in sunlight. It is not great for when you are trying to build the play set. Just with in the time it took the play set to get shipped to me, plus sitting in the boxes for three days at my home, the markings were worn off on at least half of the parts and pieces. This caused the build to take a lot longer than expected. In the end, decent play set for the money. With the few problems I mentioned, it took three of us about 10 hours (to include breaks) to completely put together.

Too small and overpriced
This looked like an impressive play set for a 3 year old but after a month of consistent use i am disappointed with the size, quality and price we paid. I was drawn to the durability of the cedar but several pieces needed trimmed to size or were splintered and needed sanded. I have one 35 pound 3 year old and the set lifts off the ground and creaks terribly when she swings. The set does come with anchors which we placed around the base of the treehouse and will have to buy extras to put on the swing frame for this reason. It is much smaller than I anticipated. The ad shows several older children playing on it but in reality 2-3 small kids fill it out. The picnic area is tiny and the area to swing in is very tight. There is no room to go a little sideways as kids often do because you will hit the A frame or treehouse. The quality of the slide and swings is good and it wasn’t too difficult to put together, about 10 hours as was expected.

Cheap materials
The amount of times the wood splintered while putting it together was astronomical and concerning. These are only a few pictures of the areas that it’s splintered. Instructions are unclear. A lot of the pieces didn’t fit together and had to be trimmed down to be used. I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied with this purchase. It was a Christmas present for my kids and I’m worried it won’t last the year

Love it!
AMAZING. My four year amd one year old girls love it. Great value for cost. Very sturdy and easy to install. My husband had it done on a few hours with no help.

It's really a great set for the money
After reading a bunch of reviews, looking on Amazon and other vendors I settled on this specific set. Just to be clear, like many others here have said, the set is pretty flimsy when it's not put together. In fact, one of the pieces broke as I was putting it together, but decided to keep going to see how it would work (I will be able to do a repair). If you are thinking about doing this, make sure you are super used to following instructions, this is like the do it yourself furniture from hell. If you understand the instructions, two people with basic tool skills can put this together in about 8 hours or so. I did this with a one armed guy in about 12 hours, because I had to do all the assembly myself but had him help finding pieces. Make sure you have power power tools, i would recommend at least two drill and an impact driver if you have it.All in all, my kid loves this and it's perfect for a 3-5 year old, once it's together it's pretty sturdy, just don't let someone to heavy play on it. I would recommend this if you need something pretty simple for your backyard and a place for little kids to play.PS the slide is actually the hardest part to put together in all this.

Wood kept breaking/need extra tools- bolts
(4) different pieces of wood kept splitting. One broke so badly- luckily my husband knows how to cut a new piece- even though it didn’t match (color wise). The planks didn’t all fit correctly- had to trim one down.We were missing bolts. Ones short and others with lots of extras.Didn’t realize it wasn’t an actual slide. Took (3) of us, to get it in the slots. The stamped numbers on the pieces were inside and outside of the wood. I’d prefer them all inside. The directions were confusing in some parts.Overall, it’s a great play set for price. If it wasn’t for my husband being able to fix stuff or cut new pieces- we would have returned it.

Fun!!
This play set is so much fun!! We love the little kitchen and that the upstairs can be turned into a fort or a castle. It took a full day (8 hours) plus 2 hours the next day for my husband to put together with power tools- the slide was probably the hardest to put together because of the way you have to bend it to fit into the grooves- I ended up helping with the slide and it was much easier with 2 people. Our daughter loves it and it has been used every day since we put it together about a month ago!!
