Q: in the description say 16 beewax foundation, then at the bottom says 16 plastic foundations. so wondering which ones they are since no pics of them?

Hello, our foundations are made of plastic and foundations are soaked in beeswax. Therefore, there is some beeswax coating on it. Sorry for providing you with an inaccurate information.

You can catch your own swarm of bees with this hive setup. Put the two sections together with the small super on top with the 8 small frames only. This will leave the bottom open with plenty of room for a swarm. Put a cotton ball with several drops of real lemon grass oil in a ziplock closed. Put 3 small holes in it. Place the ziplock on the bottom board in the back. Place the entrance reducer to the small opening and refresh cotton ball every 2 weeks. Bee swarms usually begin late March April May.
