Q: Can this fit a small sweatshirt/jacket?

This item is rather small. A sweatshirt of child size would not fit... let alone a sweatshirt or jacket of adult size.

Q: Are the straps padded?

The straps have more of a flat dog leash quality. I haven't tried it out yet, but when I checked them out at Kohls they felt comfortable.

Q: Does the Jersey Gray/Onyx backpack lay flat against the back if very little is inside of it?

Check the description below on the actual backpack I’m sure it’ll tell you the dimensions of the straps but I didn’t purchase the one in the picture I purchased a different one
