Another good product from Simpson
Bought this extendable wand so I wouldn’t need to stand on a ladder. Much safer having your feet planted on the ground. It is heavy and requires He-Man arms to hold it for an extended period of time. I power wash one area, take a break to let my arms recover, then do another area and so on. Works well with my 3200psi 2.5gpm Simpson pressure washer. No noticeable drop in pressure in comparison to the standard wand that came with my pressure washer. It does kick back when you pull the trigger and drops fast when you release the trigger so you don’t want to release the trigger when it’s hovering over a glass window. The wand itself is built well, good quality. It’s a bit more pricey than other brand wands selling on Amazon but I have no regrets purchasing this one.

Not as in the picture.
I have been using the yellow wand made from fiberglass for many years but when it came time to replace it I bought this one for a change. The alum. frame feels HD and it's made by Simpson been one of the best. The locking parts for the tubing are NOT the same as showing in the picture here so I'll see how long they will last using the tool every day. I gave it five stars for the tool been HD, for having all the parts in the box and in good condition. Good job Simpson!

Good spray extension
This worked very well when we painted out two story cabin. Had no problems with it working with our sprayer.

it works well
I have 2 floors above a basement and was able to reach the top of the house below the roof. Unless your house is bigger, an 18 foot wand should do. I had to do a lot of adjusting on the strap to get it to a useful point. i also purchased something called The Gas Vise on Amazon for $10 to hold the trigger in place. This, so i dont have to squeeze the trigger manually and can move my hands further up on the wand. the wand itself is well made and the long connecting hose on it is rubber and well made.with my hands free from squeezing the trigger and the wand attached high up on my body, holding the 18 foot wand for an hour was doable. a 24 foot wand would likely be significantly more difficult

Wanted it to be great!!
Love that is a Simpson, made out of aluminum but the locking device did not secure the larger bottom pole in place. I did manage to get it to work by using a larger zip tie to secure it from coming back together but unfortunately it’s going back. I may try another one and if it fails I may make my own locking device. Great product still a bear to handle at 18’ extended.

Very nice product.
I replaced my 18 foot fiber glass extension pole with this aluminium one and it does the job and it is much lighter to use than my old fiber glass. That fiber glass was a bear to use. A little costly for this but you get what you pay for. Instead of using the harness that comes with it I attach a single strap to the end that looks something like the string on a bow and arrow and put it over my shoulder and rest the trigger end on my thy. A little heavy to lift fully extended but once you get it vertical no problem.
