Cheaper alternative to expensive fixings
I live in a period property, have spent a fortune on similar fittings. Following an ikea purchase, were unsurprisingly regular (expensive) fittings didn't fit, these did! 10ft ceiling, no one notices these are not brass/metal. Looks authentic. Very happy with my faux alternative

Why silver
There OK do the job but they have a glaring problem why have silver grub screws on a black fitting? But they will hold a dab of paint

Rose cover only and e27 fitting
These do not come with the actual ceiling light wiring part of the ceiling rose they cover over your existing one

Reasonable quality, thin copper wires
These look OK installed, although I wouldn't use them with a 100w bulb as the wire core is very thin. They do require a large hole on your shade to fit. Lamp holder is all plastic.

Unsafe for use in the UK
Product is of decent enough quality for the price, however there is no point on the rose for securing an earthing wire. As earth wires are required in the UK on metal light fittings then this is not safe to install. Product returned.

Replacement
Had to replace one, had it for a year and it blew so, so not long lasting.
