PHILIPSXenon X-treme Vision D2S GEN2 up to 150% more vision, Xenon burner 85122XV2C1

Bought for my 2010 Mazda 3. Although my factory xenon headlights have never "burned out" they had greatly dimmed over the past 10 years. I was aware of "fake" xenon bulbs on the market but after reading the reviews I decided to go with this company in Germany. I paid about $20 extra for faster shipping. They arrived in a week to the US. I had a mechanic install the bulbs because in my case the front bumper has to be removed in order to get to the headlights. When I finally got to drive at night I was very happy with how much brighter they are now. These bulbs are dims & brights in one. They do take a few seconds after switching on to reach full brightness but that is normal for xenon bulbs. They a very white light. Overall they are as expected & I am satisfied with my purchase.

I should have followed my personal cry once philosophy. But in this case I gave the $15 eBay version a try and the light output was worse than my 14 year old factory bulb. I can't see much at night. I thought it was due to the HID ballaster getting old. Thankfully after watching reviews from youtube, I gave these a try. Man what a difference. I actually measured the output using a light meter, these are 4x brighter than before. So next time I will cry once.

I drive to work daily on the highway in the dark so a good light is critical. They are bright enough, to which I mean, they give me the visibility I need for the road and work well in the rain. They illuminate the road, and although it may not look like it, provide enough throw to illuminate street signs. Price and functionality is reasonable and the best part is, they don't blind other drivers. These are not for show, but are for function. Would buy again. Good for the daily night driver on normal city highways.

I purchased on the premise on other reviews stating that there are 2 bulbs in the box. The item pic makes it look larger, but - ONLY ONE BULB. So if you need 2 bulbs do not purchase this one.

I installed these on a 2010 911 to replace the old factory HID bulbs. They are whiter and brighter than the old factory bulbs. Seem like a good upgrade.

This bulbs provide much better lighting than the stock ones with 4000K. I hesitated for a first few days until I managed to get in a park at night. First picture shows light from original 4000K low beam lights and the right for this 4800K X-TremeVision. The new light is much more crisp and I can see all details much better. Also this Xenon HID doesn't seem to blind other cars. Overall I am happy about this purchase.

Incredible light! Nice color, even in the Minnesota snow, and SO much brighter than my stock bulbs in 2004 BMW 325xi. Maybe my old bulbs had faded some, but I wish I would have paid the price and put these in sooner, they are worth the price!
