Very good and can hold excellent

I bought this thing to make myself a little bag that will hold my wallet, keys, and phone while at the gym to keep them concealed, off the floor, and away from places where they will get crushed or stolen. Some gym bags already offer this and have a built-in magnet, but that means you'd have a powerful magnet resting directly next to your phone and other stored items. For those who might not know, magnets kill many electronics and credit/debit cards.With the magnet attached to an exterior loop of the bag, I can safely hang my items up and away while also not having the magnet within a dangerous range of whatever it is I am trying to protect. And even with everything in this bag weighing it down, the magnet has yet to lose its grip. I built this setup with a cheap shoulder bag, whereas the gym bags with a built-in magnet would have cost 3-4x as much. This is a smarter and better design and one of many use cases for this magnet.I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Using it with my new blender bottle, this magnet will stick to anything metallic and you have to pull it off. It's actually quite impressive and works well.At first, I thought the price for only a tag was a bit much, however I think it's due to the magnet's potency. Nothing crazy but more than I had expected.

Update: I’ve now been using this little gem for a few days and have taken it to the gym with me. I first tried it with a full 22oz stainless steel Cirkul bottle and had zero issues with it sliding on any of the machine frames there. On my last trip, I tried the 32oz stainless Cirkul bottle and it worked perfectly with zero slipping. So yes, this little item works great IF you’re sticking it to heavier metal where the magnets can hold well, don’t let someone’s fridge review of it sliding deter your purchase (yes, it slides on a thin metal fridge) because it works great for what it’s actually made to stick to - heavy frame gym equipment.———————————————-This is a great little item “IF” it works on the specific type of metal surface you want to use it on.Initial impressions: It’s nice and small, attaches to various items easily, and doesn’t draw attention to itself.Now, on to what most people want to know from a review. Does it actually hold a full workout bottle?The magnet is plenty strong, BUT needs a thicker/heavier metal to hold onto well and not slip. It worked great with zero slipping on a full 32oz Cirkul stainless steel bottle, when attached to my heavy steel A/V stand. The frame and smooth painted finish of the stand is similar to the equipment I use at the gym (the one where everything is purple) so I think it should work nicely for my purpose. That said, it will fail miserably if you try to stick it to a refrigerator or some thin sheet metal... even with a relatively small/light 20 oz plastic water bottle. The magnet just doesn’t get enough bite in those situations to grip instead of slip. I haven’t used it at the gym yet, but I’ll update once I’ve tested it for a few days of “real world” use.

If you love magnets, buy this product. It's not complicated. You get to slap this thing to the side of any metal object at any height you desire. What's the alternative? Leaving you're shaker on the floor, having to bend down to retrieve it. Unacceptable.

The magnet is very strong and it holds well depending on the surface.Mine broke after few months of use
