4 Ft Climbing Rope Dog Leash

I love these leashes. This is my third purchase of a Krebs Recycle leash, not because they have worn out, but because I like to have one handy in the car, by the dog kennels, and to walk the dogs. My first Krebs Recycle leash is over 5 years old and is used daily. Aside from it being a bit dirty from regular use (which is easily fixable with a good wash) it is in terrific shape. The stitching has held up perfectly and the hardware has not rusted. The rope is comfortable and flexible in hand. I feel especially good purchasing these because they're repurposed. My favorite leash!

I bought the 4ft leash as opposed to the 6ft as another reviewer indicated that they come longer than size. It's about 4.5ft and it's perfect!There's something comforting about using real rope as a leash. It fits in my hand and there are no edges to dig in like a flat leash. I tied a knot midway down that I use as a low grip when I want my dog closer to me. The hardware is good, and I put a carabiner on the handle which comes in handy all the time.So far I haven't seen any signs of wear, and the colors are bright. I've had several dogs and tons of leashes and this leash is by far the best one I've ever owned.

Out of all the leads I have tried over the years, this is my favorite.Ive had multiple nylon and rope leads that were ok, but nothing special. This is a very special product, and company. To begin, the shipping was incredibly fast. I know this may be a special case, but I have received 2 separate leads within 3 days of placing my order. Very impressive. Also, each lead has come in PERFECT condition. No issues or defects. To make it even better, a hand written "Thank You" was on the bottom of each of my packing slips.The lead wears really well, too. Within the first 2 weeks of having it, I began to train my puppy to be off lead at a large property (simply to work on come and making sure she would respond properly.) To do this, I attached the lead to another 6 foot lead and let it drag on the ground to catch her easily if need be. The grass was very wet and there were some mud spots. After a quick rinse and a few hours to dry, it was good as new!Great product! The price for what you get is a steal. This is easily worth double.If you're debating on what to get, buy this. It'll be the best $22 you spend on your dog.

Good leash. Thinner cord than a previous recycled rock-climbing rope, but plenty strong.After only one time left in floor my dog chewed one end of hand-loop where it protrudes from black rubber seal, so I have to burn it heat-shrink that to stop it unraveling. i got this leash after 3 months of looking for a replacement for my current leash, which had a problem with a lock. it was one of those push in locks and my dog somehow managed to open it few times. Great leash, lock is good, I love the rope style, it doesn't cut my hands (i'm a girl and have a Malinois), it has a good grip and it's light and folds in my hand comfortable when the dog is walking next to me. i also like the fact that it's not leather and made 'recycled' mats. I would recommend this to a friend.

This is my second dog leash and was purchased as an extra. I stick with the 4 foot leashes and love that you can easily and securely loop it around your wrist to prevent accidentally dropping the leash or your dog taking off and the leash slipping out of your hand. This is the only leash I will buy.

We purchased our first Krebs leash about 18 months ago. Having had many leashes over the years, I was reluctant to get yet another leash, but this one surprised the hell out of me! Even though it's recycled climbing rope, there's NOTHING wrong with it! The first one held up to a teething puppy who pulls, and only shows a little dirt. I bought a second one for the older dog, thinking that walking with the same leash would be easier, but even though I ordered the same length leash, the first one is longer. So, in contacting the seller, he sent me a THIRD leash. While having a match to the longer one would have been ideal, having two of the same sure has made it easier, as anticipated, in handling 2 dogs. These are worth their cost which really isn't significantly over the cost in the chain pet stores. I'm a confirmed Krebs leash customer!

We got the leash in this picture five years ago and it has been our go to leash for its versatility and ease of use. I see some people leaving negative reviews and I felt the need to provide an alternate perspective. This is the leash that we take to the beach 3 to 5 times a week. Finally after five years of service, the salt and sand finally wore through the clasp. But look!! The rest of the leash is in pretty good condition despite the sand and salt water and general mis-treatment by our family and dog! Obviously we immediately bought a new one when this one finally gave up.Excellent value for the money, you can’t go wrong buying this leash!
