Money well spent

Don't buy this product. Buy USA made! I have tried to contact the seller andmanufacturer for weeks to stand by their product and they have not responded at all.Amazon will not help with this either. It should NOT have cost me over $30 each tobutcher chickens and now be back to plucking by hand! This product should have lastedyears! It cannot handle the feathers off TWO chickens. When I used it according to theirdirections and put two chickens in (the 10th and 11th ones I did on my third use), thefeathers got totally gunked up on one side and the motor burnt out before I could seewhat happened (I'm too short to see over the side!) There is NO WAY this productcould handle a turkey. It should have had a safety switch to turn the motor off if the platecan't turn. I am very disappointed to have spent so much money and have nothing toshow for it. It's also way too heavy to be moving in and out of the garage for use. Getsomething smaller, USA made, with a safety switch that turns off the motor when cloggedis my advice. Don't buy this product, or anything from Vevor! Vevor will not respondand make this right. They should stand by their product.

This product makes my work very easy when preparing chicken to sell. It is very easy to use and leave no feathers on the chickens whenever they are at the correct temperature.

Works as it should. No problems. Hard to clean out. Feathers get stuck.

Works great and big enough to handle a couple of chickens.

These units are not cheap, none of them. This one is reasonably priced and did a fairly decent job of plucking. I was not impressed with the quality of workmanship when I received. Paper thin sheet metal on the collection box and had 3 screws broken during assembly with the broke off screw heads in the box. The design of the collection shoot is WRONG. The sheet metal is broke inward to prevent a cutting edge, but not crimped flat and does nothing but collect feathers that ball up and makes it very difficult to clean them out. The drum on the unit stopped spinning several times during our operation because of feathers clogging up on the bottom of the spinning drum and required cleaning. Overall the units plucks birds great. About 15-40 seconds with one bird, a little longer with two. Would have liked to see better quality workmanship at assembly and better quality materials in the choice of Sheetmetal chosen. So overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and made a huge difference processing birds. I will modify the discharge shoot to my liking.

We bought this plucker 2 years ago when we first started out on our farm. We’ve plucked many foul with this machine. It’s quite the work horse! It was a GREAT investment for sure.

Horrible used it and the chicken that came out had bones broken through the skin and we were unable to use the chicken and had to toss it. Waste of money.
