Ordered this kit and was a easy install for my JD 125 automatic. It was obvious that I wasn’t greasing my front hubs enough, especially the right side.I did have an issue with one spindle/axle being too short (see pics) when they welded the bearing stop cup so I contacted them Sunday night through amazon and a replacement was sent priority mail immediately and I was mowing by Wednesday.*Be sure to note there is a R or L marked on spindle/axle if you need to order another.Bearings make much more sense than bushings...which totally rely on grease and basically is using your axle...and metal rubbing on metal. With bearings when you have a failure, you only have to replace the bearing not the axle.

When I had to replace my tires I my D140 I opted for the should tire and wheel assembly. It was a good value(if the tires last). But when I slid the old ones off I found out that metal on metal had worn away a third of the axle (8 year old John Deere). These replacement parts fit perfectly. It took a bit to get the old hardware off. But after cleanup, the new went on in 10 minutes-including greasing. Now the difference is amazing. I agree with another poster, it's like having power steering.

I replaced both front axles without any difficulty. All the parts fit without any adjustments. Time will tell how long the repair will last. I’ve been told that bearings will last longer than bushings. Periodic greasing is the key.

Product was easy to install on my LA135 tractor. The hardest part was getting the old bushings out of the wheels, but then was a fairly quick job to swap the spindles, insert the bearings and put it back together. I did have significant wear on only one axle due to the bushings wearing badly, and only replaced that one at this time, but did replace the bushings on both wheels with the bearings provided in this kit. Tractor steers just fine with zero wobble to the wheels now. Time will tell if the parts are durable.

I needed a set of these, and in a hurry. I didn't want to spend JD prices, but am leary on some aftermarket parts that I have purchased in the past. These worked fine. NOT identical to the original (spacing on the arms was a little off) but they worked along with the new bearings all is well.

I received the front wheel spindle and bearing kit and went to work. Everything looked fine when unpacked. Everything fit when I installed the kit on my LA145. But then...I walked around to the front and saw the wheels were slightly but noticeably toed out. I don't know how this will affect my mowing as I mow a creek bank with this mower. I'm not going to go through the hassle of disassembling the parts to return for a refund so I plan to wait till the bearings blow out this or next season and then will purchase OEM parts from JD. BTW, after this install I checked the price of the JD parts at Greenpartstore.com and found the OEM parts for the same price as the FLIP Mfg parts.The slight toeout of the tires is my only dissatisfaction, but, if FLIP can't manufacture the parts to JD specs, they don't rate more than 1 star.Update: 7/4/22 After putting up with degraded steering performance for one mowing session I purchased the OEM spindles and replace the FLIP spindles. Steering and toe out are good as gold now!

Easy to install and seems to be ok quality for the most part. Only reason I didn't give five stars is that there is a little too much up down travel once installed and greased, but I think it'll be ok only time will tell. Edit first time mowing one of the wheel bearings failed causing wheel to come off. I simply put the original bushings back in on that wheel to finish, but am not impressed with the quality at least on the bearings.

I have an LA145 that was hard to steer and would require replacement of the steering sector plate and gear every year. I purchased this kit and it drives and steers like new. The wheel bearings are a step up from the factory bushings. Definitely a great product for the money. Fast shipping and the parts fit as they should. If you’re somewhat mechanically inclined it is a simple task.
