No. It's 'simulated' wood, so a wood grained plastic.

Q: What are the interior dimensions of each? so i can ensure i get an appropriately sized stand for them. thanks.

If you're talking bore size, it ranges from about 8mm diameter (for descant, sopranino and soprano) 10mm for alto, 17mm for tenor and 22mm for4 bass.

The same company sells a set of 6 in the colors black and white which they say is in the key of C. The brown set of 6 should be in the same key. I don't play professionally; therefore, for me, it is okay.
