Nice extension
The plug on the ethernet cable I use for my laptop at home gets unplugged and plugged in a lot, so the locking tab broke off. It would still plug in and work but would eventually slip out and I'd lose connection to my home network. I bought this cable to help with this issue and it worked out great. I plug the male end into the laptop, it's locking tab seems quite sturdy and should last quite a while even with my constant use. the female socket is snug enough that even though I thought I'd have to tape the old broken ethernet plug in, I didn't need to as it holds it quite well. For a couple of months now, the broken plug has stayed put in this extension. I'm quite happy with how this worked out and would buy again.

Too short. Not even 12 inches of cable.
It is listed as having a 1 foot cable. But the cable is only 8 inches long Maybe in China, a foot is only 8 inches. Other than being too short, it works fine. Not a good value if it isn't as advertised

Good Quality
Achieved it's purpose for secured LAN cable connection.Used it as permanently connected on my LAN port.No need to reach at the back for re-seating cables.
