Great price, fun, fast, sharp.
Sharp, compact, fast and fun. I'm using it on a Micro Four Thirds camera (Panasonic G85) for action-sports video, and actually like the slightly cropped circular image- in video mode it gives me a nice super-wide vignetted look that lets me keep all the action in frame. The price is great, and the lack of AF, IS, or electronic aperture control are really non-issue a when shooting with a fisheye. The f2 aperture is really nice to have for low-light situations.

Impressive lens that is a bot difficult to focus well at first
Toss out everything and start from scratch with this lens. First, on an Olympus OM-D EM-1 camera, the distance markings are worthless. Ignore them and use the screen to focus. Be absolutely certain to use electronic magnification while adjusting the focus, or you are going to miss more than hit. I find working in Manual Mode with Manual Focus is the best. An aperture around f/ 8 is my preference for bright subjects, but I have worked all the way down to wide open and gotten good shots. If you develop a mental checklist and go through it /every time/, you can get great results with this lens. For my EM-1 and all other micro-4/3 cameras, the top and bottom of the circle are cut off some. I estimate that I still get over 80% of the circle area in my photo, and I am very happy with it.Some subjects that seem to work well with this lens include landscapes, wind farms, museum falleries and cars.Example photos are from The Early Ford V-8 Museum in Auburn, IN USA.

It's sharp, it's fast, it's inexpensive, it's well built, and it's fun.
I own 6 different fisheye lenses, but this is one of the lenses I'll often take with me. Fisheyes come in two types, full frame and circular. The difference is just how large the image circle is that is projected onto the sensor. A circular fisheye gives you the full field of view, a full frame fisheye is cropped. Speaking of field of view, this thing looks slightly behind itself. There are generally two ranges fisheye lenses come in, really expensive and sharp, or cheap crap. At $150 this isn't an expensive lens, yet it's tack sharp. It's also an f2 lens, which means it's better for indoor use.

Really amazing lens! Highly recommended.
I recently bought 4 of these lenses to build a 360 degree camera and it has become my favorite lens! I love the quality of the glass and the build of the lens. In the past I have experimented with Samyang, Fujinon, Rokinon, and I have a very hard time believing what I paid for it. I have used it to take pictures indoors and outdoors. I love the aperture control and the depth of field I can get with it. The lens feels solid and does not feel cheap. I am really happy with my purchase and highly recommend it if you are looking for a super fish eye lens. At that price, every photographer should pick one up!

Big circular fisheye effect for MFT. Not too expensive, fast at f2.0 manual focus, manual aperture
This is a very wide angle lens they call a fisheye because of its distorted view. There are full image fisheyes and circular fisheyes - this one is circular, it places a circular image on the image sensor with the corners cut off.I got the version for MFT. The lens was really designed for APS-C sensors, so the image circle has a sliver of the top and bottom cut off when it projects on the MFT sensor. Its not completely circular, if this bothers you. Doesn't bother me too much. Not too expensive, fairly fast at f f2.0 manual focus, manual aperture. Olympus has their 9 mm f/8 body cap fisheye at $98 if you are looking for cheap fisheye toys for MFT, but at only $49 [ now only $30] more, this is much more lens with even wider fisheye effect.Be careful and make sure your feet and fingers holding the camera don't end up in the picture, as mine have several times already!

Focus Ring Problem at arrival
the focus ring came completely loose, I had to calibrate and adjust. The lens looks good, the 8mm feel is very different on Nikon APS-C. You can see the inside of the lens from the viewfinder, still in the evaluation stage since it just arrived. But with the serious disappointment of the problem with the focus ring barely opening the case. I did not return it because I am a customer outside the US. I wanted to try 2 more lenses of the same brand, but after this incident, I prefer not to.

CHEATED BY VOKING
VERY INEXPENSIVE.The build quality is POOR and weighs the same as my $600 LEICA, which is a beauty (Panasonic LEICA 25mm).I bought this for my GF and she loves it and can't stop using it. Some of the photos she has captured are beautiful. I'll try throw some onto here.Twist this lens onto an Olympus PEN or any other M43 setup and you'll have a great, fish-eye travel camera !UPDATE: FOCUS ring came loose and the lens wouldn't work properly. Manufacture defectI requested a replacementThey agreed, then refunded me $105 if the $135WE WERE CHEATED BY VOKING.do not but this product or any product from Voking
