Battery for iPhone SE First Generation, Replacement Battery for 2016 Edition iPhone A1662 A1723 A1724 with Complete Replacement Kits and 2 Set Adhesive Strips -0 Cycle High Capacity

I bought two of these for two separate iPhones. I replaced the batteries once before and used a small section of double-sided tape instead of the included adhesive strips. So, it wasn't as difficult to do this time. Both batteries came with a 50% charge. The replacements took about a half hour or less per phone.These batteries are of higher quality than the other batteries that I bought before. These fit perfectly, and connectors are much sturdier. So far, these batteries are holding up very well. The tools are okay. I needed to find a magnet to magnetize the screw drivers before beginning. There is no way to manage the tiny screws without magnetized screw driver tips. Also, it helped to have a head-mount magnifier lens with light. I find it just too difficult to do this without one.This time, I added Wi-Fi mini smart plugs which are.controlled with Shortcuts app automation to turn the battery charging off at 80% and back on at 75% in order to prevent overcharging. Hopefully, this should extend the battery life and prevent the battery swelling this time.CoconutBattery shows a 0 cycle-count with a design capacity of 1624 mAh and a full charge capacity of 1908 mAh with manufacturer of Desay Corporation. So, I wasn't able to verify the higher capacity. Perhaps I needed to recalibrate the battery, not quite sure. I'm glad that some companies still support this phone.Overall, I'm happy.

This is not as easy to install, remove things with care, easy and slow. Ensure that you understand the instructions which are somewhat hard to follow and find since the link provided may not necessarily be for the installation for your phone.

The media could not be loaded. So, i have an iphone SE 2016, phone has been overheating for anything and the battery last nothing…Well, i got this battery, and for some Good reason the phone doesn’t overheat like before (maybe it was the old battery), also while doing the calibration, I charged the phone 100% and let it run youtube on the background with full brightness and it last more than 5 hours of continuous music and video, without overheating..I’m impressed with this battery, and hope it last.

I can’t fault the battery or the tools supplied. As a few others have mentioned, this is NOT an easy repair to make to your iPhone - even for an avid D-I-Yer.Found a video online that was specific to the SE. the phone comes apart as the videos show. Following the video instructions, the screws and connectors all remove as shown.Unfortunately, on a 7-8 year old iPhone SE, the adhesive strips securing the battery in the case tend to break before they stretch out to release the battery. Both of mine tore before releasing the battery, so the project was destined for the back burner until I decide to try the dental floss trick or something else. You’re not supposed to pry or bend lithium batteries, do strongarming it out is a gamble.I managed to get it back together with the old battery still in it just so the parts wouldn’t get lost. Phone powers up, screen comes alive, but touch on screen isn’t recognized. I guess one if those teeny tiny connectors isn’t seated properly. Bummer.Oh well, this IS an old iPhone SE (generation 1) and it’s from two replacements ago. I was just trying to use it as a starting are to play with.I guess I learned a little humility.So - the screws are tiny. The connectors are anlmist microscopic . Very hard to align and hold in place while you replace the pieces that hold them in place. The adhesive tape holding the old battery in will likely break on you.Even for a mechanic, camera tech, desktop computer tech of 20+ years - I had to admit defeat.You have been warned.If fixing this phone was going to get me rescued from an uncharted island - I’d likely be one a permanent resident.If I go back in and get it fixed - I’ll report back.Good luck!

This product came quickly and was easy to install. Initially it held a good charge for an acceptable length of time. Three months to the day I noticed the corner of my screen lifting (a tell-tale sign of battery swelling) and that night it stopped taking a charge. The 30-day return window being 60 days past, I am now forced to order a new battery from another seller. Good for a quick fix, but not the long haul.

Battery life 100%Battery matched the phone 100% The old iPhone is like it was when I first bought it new, Just awesome now its ready to be put on the shelf as a working relic of the past Lol....

needs charged every day, and if using alot, only lasts half day. Not improvement over the one I replaced which was at 80% capacity

Was a bit hard to install only because old battery was hard to get out of phone. The battery works great and holds a charge for a couple days
