Q: Will it fit a older gaggia baby pre 2006 model ?

Probably, but may require small tweak. I have an old Gaggia "Espresso" (Black ABS case) where the stock wand (with plastic Panarello) had a thicker chrome end with two gaskets that was soldered onto the steam wand pipe. That gasketed end fit into a brass coupling in the machine. The Rancillio wand does not have this double-gasketed end. If you have a similar setup you have two options. First, you can unsolder the end piece with the gaskets from the original wand and solder it onto the Rancillio wand. I didn't have much luck with the approach as its a small piece of metal that easily deforms once heated up. If it gets deformed, it won't fit into the brass fitting. The second option is to take apart the Panarello, take the long rubber gasket and shove that gasket into the brass coupling. Once that is in there, just replace the nut on the new Rancillio wand with the nut from your original wand, tighten it down, and you are set.

Not a good replacement for delongi dedica

Not a good replacement for dedica as it doesn't skim the milk like it used with its original steam wand. Not able to make latte arts as i used with original steam wand
