Review from someone with experience.
If you’re looking for short and sweet? 5stars, highly recommended. If you’re interested as to why? Let me explain in detail with over 10years of experience. How is that possible ? I’m heavily invested in Kayak fishing. Back in 2013-2015 sit on top “kayaks” was being very popular. How does this relate? This is by definition a kayak style chair but with a spin on things no pun intended. New Kayak chairs are starting to have 360 swivel. As someone who has spent countless hours fishing out this type of chair day in and out. I can tell you with confidence what is expected. First the mesh material will last you 3-5years if left complete exposure to the environment. Minus that if rats or squirrels get it obviously. I wouldn’t recommend leaving it in the full sun day after day for years. With proper care you’ll have the same results as I. I still have all my first generation chairs still good as new 10years later. The metal hardware seems very durable, and tons of adjustments. After a few hours playing in this chair. i can tell you it’s extremely quiet. And compatible with all my kayak upgrade accessories like caddies, cup holders, gear packs and so on. You can make this chair a lot more versatile than it’s intended design with kayak accessories. Like lumbar support, reclining that’s right with kayak seat straps you can use to make this recliner or sit further forward. Very fast adjustable straps are the best option for this chair to improve comfort. You can also use kayak cushions that’s designed specifically for these types of chairs. As far as it’s functionality it’s rock solid and you can manipulate the seat and the arm like your playing a video game. If you have ever hunted and had your game come in from a different angle or direction and couldn’t move to get your rifle on target in time, you’d understand how important that it is to be able to spin around and take the shot. Where this chair shines is when you take the kiddos hunting and you wanna let them have as much control as possible without risking safety. This makes for the safest option I’ve seen yet. Bi/tri pods can fall over. Propping the firearm can cause smaller kiddos to skin up the rifle, make a ton of noise or drop the weapon. This chair is by far the easiest way to hunt for small children. It is a full size adult chair I was thinking it would be smaller but it’s full size. It’s a bit on the heavier side made most of heavy metals. I’d like to see a all aluminum version to reduce weight. And just over all small package design with a smaller chair. I don’t need anything rated for 500lbs. You wouldn’t wanna have to drag it in and out of the woods daily. If so you’ll wanna get a backpack and some straps to make it easier to carry on your back. Bottom line 5stars for this setup. And if price is a factor consider that most kayak/ camping chairs without the swiveling seat or arm cost as much and a lot more. Your getting a good price for everything you’re getting.

Seems great thus far...
I have a bad lower back. I've had some issues recently & in talks w/my Dr. it's apparent that I won't be able to sit in 1 position for long periods of time w/o moving... unless I find an option to get some good lower back support & a way to hold weight closer to my body at the same time. After some research & shopping around, I choose this chair w/the death grip option.w/Bow season quickly approaching, I needed to find an option ASAP.I will be hunting w/my crossbow, from a ground blind, there's several options I have considered.this chair/boom set up was delivered last night & I got is put together & set up in my living room. Chair is very comfortable & provides ample lower back support. I am wondering is after longer periods of time, if the seat will remain comfy? Or, of the support in lower back will be enough. I immediately ID'd a way to add some a foam cushion that should be more than enough under my rump, as well as a small pillow to place @ my lower back for added support... both options will be in the blind with me as/if needed. The boom, (for lack of a better word?) is pretty amazing @ this point. It is heavier than the chair itself, so in order to leave the chair, you need to swing/rotate the arm to a position over the chair seat itself, otherwise the weight of the arm will tip the entire assembly over. I read about others struggling w/this idea i9n other reviews, but once I saw (what I expected to see) in person, it's NOT a big deal @ all, just common sense really. Once I figured out the best arrangement of the arm, (took a lot of trial & error really) I was very satisfied. Bow season opens for me tomorrow, I plan to get out to my blind this evening to set everything up again & hunt this weekend & next. I'm sure there will be many different tweaks & adjustments, but I am certain this will afford me the option to not only remain seated & motionless in comfort, but keep my cross bow in relatively good position at the ready, w/o being required to support the weight of the weapon away from my body, for long periods of time w/o moving, (all things my Dr. advised me to avoid, that are of course required for a good/successful hunt). I plan to leave work tonight ASAP, go straight to my blind, get set up w/the chair, the boom & my bow & the added cushions & supports... leave it all set & ready to sit & wait for "Buck-Zilla" to walk in front of me later in the week. I'll post another review, once I have had a chance to sit for extended periods.

A must for any tower stand
PERFECT compliment to a built tower stand where the shooter needs comfort and the ability to take rock solid shots. Easy to assemble and quality materials. Rest is very easy to maneuver and get set up for a great sight picture and shot.

Comfortable
Awesome chair with a gun rest. A must have for ground blinds. I'm a bigger guy and the chair is very comfortable. One can sit for hours! Gun rest feels natural and easy to use.

Great chair!
After much research, found this for my husband's deer stand. He was very happy that it was easy to assemble, sturdy and quiet. The gun rest is awesome although like others said, you must position it properly to keep the chair from tipping over when you're not sitting in it. Easy enough. Also, the swivel feature gave him full range of motion, is adjustable (as us the gun rest) and quiet. Made his hunt enjoyable and comfortable at age 67. Highly recommend this product.

Works well for sighting in a rifle. Hunting in fall of 2025
Think is awesome. Used for sighing in my 30.06 and AR15 Takes the human of sighting in a rifle at 100yards. The revies about being unbalanced are true. If you are not sitting in it, it is unbalanced. Not unexpected, just need to be aware.
