To sell something for £90 that is this bad is quite something. The base is not wood and the lid just rests on top loose with no inside edging or any way of securing it. So even the slightest movement will knock the lid off. Probably not the greatest idea when your selling it as an ashes holder. Would have returned it in heart beat but the cost of postage to India made it just not worth it.

We bought another urn 1 year later and were disappointed with the top carving compared to the original. The "petals" are hardly carved and the depth shows a lot of debris and broken elements. We replaced with another and this one arrived with the same lack of quality on the carving with the addition of the top of the box being cracked.

Nice urn. My concern, prior to receiving this urn, was that my loved one would fit in the box. I bought it for someone who was quite petite, weighing around 120 pounds. Don't think you would get a 200 pound person in this urn. But there was room left over for the paperwork and some other momentos, so I would recommend it for someone who would have weighed around 150 pounds. Nice wood, beautiful carving. Nicely made.

Beautifully carved piece. The screw which held the lid (at the bottom) in place was very easy to unscrew and screw back in. The very long screw also meant that the lid was VERY secure, especially as it's at the bottom so as not to interfere with the carving and the sealed look of the box overall. When I slid back the lid, I could smell the fragrant wood inside - it was lovely and reassuring that my father's ashes would be placed in there. I ordered the large size box. I would never order a cremation urn from a funeral home ever again.

These are so beautiful. Well made. Solid. Nicely carved. I was happy that they were each slightly different colors the striations in the wood. One is a gift for a sibling. Perfect size not to large not too small. I felt they were a bit pricey but how can you put a price on something that will home your loved one. We will treasure them. ❤️
