This RO membrane didn’t last long
This membrane was installed by my water filter company and worked great at first. After 3 months TDS was 500. The water company replaced it, but 3 months later nearing TDS=500.I bought a 3rd one from Amazon and it started at TDS=478.Finally replaced with a “generic” standard form factor housing and membrane, and new RO is TDS=48.

Retrofit - Don’t Forget to Install the Drain Flow Restrictor!
I bought this as a retrofit for my Homemaster Hydroperfection RO system, which had a bad membrane after some plumbing work. The installation was easy: just connect everything to the appropriate hose on the Homemaster and start it up.But wait! After starting up, the water from the inlet continued flowing through the system to the waste drain on the permeate pump. It ran like this for an hour and nothing was working.After going back to the manual, I saw the little drain restrictor piece, which was unfamiliar to me, because HomeMaster doesn’t use it. You stick it into the drain hose before you connect it to the drain out on the membrane.Once I did that, it worked beautifully.

Love the high efficiency
I did not test it but the 1:1 ratio is appealing vs. the traditional 1:3-4 and achieves without a permeate pump. Came well packages. The need to flush for 24 hours is a little annoying but a small price to pay.
