Worth upgrading from 75t
I had a pair of 75t's that flaked out after a few years of use. After trying a host of cheaper alternatives, I came back to these.Overall, the sound quality, fit, ANC & controller logic - match, or are better than other options out there. The main draw cards for me are real buttons rather than touch control. Just pressing once to turn on or off my buds to save battery is great to have back. I don't know why other manufacturers require you to use a case to turn your buds on or off, or have fiddly long-press touch control to turn off, which interferes with other control functions. Getting proper Multipoint back is also a relief.Thankfully I don't have problems with the oval gels and my fav new feature is incorporation of the ingress mesh in the gels rather than on the earpiece. This means to clean ear gunk, I'm not fishing round with alcohol and swab in the earpiece enclosure itself - YAY! All buds should adopt this strategy.Minor improvement suggestions:1. Software should integrate better w/ mobile OS to show independent bud charge in the BT UI. My Lenovo buds do this w/ Android and it's great. I don't have to download the app or open the app for individual charge readout.2. Show individual bud charge level in the case itself. My tozos do this. It's great if my buds have been lying around for a while to check charge in the case and then just close the lid to charge, rather than pair with phone, go into the phone app to see charge level, then put them in the case anyway.Seller-specific feedback -I got these buds reconditioned and they came with the wrong gels (see image - regular round gels). This wasn't called out in the description, and original gels cost me ~$20 with shipping from OEM. I didn't send the buds back for a refund, but I shouldn't have to pay for original gels. The custom gels are an important feature, not including them should be called out, as users may opt to just buy new if the price diffs is negligible.

Great buds poor accessories
The 85t earbuds are like new as well as case. Ear cushions on the buds are original. Extras are not compatible and do not stay on. I had to order elsewhere for better cushions.Earbuds themselves are great and have awesome sound response. Was able to calibrate frequency response tailored to my hearing through built in hearing test.

Good sound
One trouble with many earbuds is simple and reliable connectivity. I don't want to have to go through a set up process every time I use. These are reliable and once setup they are solid. And they sound good.

These are not remotely refurbished to OEM standards.
These did not come in OEM packaging or with OEM tips. In fact they came with only one size of tips and those were the very cheapest silicon tips they could find. They don't even fit these at all, which means the earbuds don't fit, which means they are worthless.I bought another pair of renewed elite 85t's on Amazon a few months back for about $10 less. They came in OEM packaging with a full pack of OEM tips. To say that I am disappointed with these doesn't even really cover it. I feel scammed.I can safely say that this synthetic fluff they stuffed into (one of) the nozzles probably won't keep the IP rating. It's shameful to call these "renewed". They are barely even clean.

Work Great!!! But…..
They really do work great, for listening to music and blocking sound. I hate to be that guy but the extra tips or gels they included were the cheap round ones without screens. The ones on the buds were the correct ones, oval with screens. The extras, were crappy, cheap, round, and smaller connectors. I feel cheated. I have like 6 pair of Jabra buds, and like 6 pair of various brands; I know my ear buds. So I just spent $10 more to get the correct extra tips. The picture has 4 of the crappy ones and 2 of the correct ones.

Great sound and comfort
These little earbuds are a nice combination of quality sound and comfort. The active noise cancelling helps to minimize ambient noise. Definitely a good choice for portable sound.

The battery only lasts 4 hours with "ANC" on.The sound is low quality unless you have ANC on.With ANC the sound quality is mid 3/5 quality. This means if you want passable sound quality you are subjected to a 4 hour battery. The ANC is Low QualityThere is a painful high pitch ringing while using communication apps like zoom, slack or ms teams while ANC is on.They do not sit comfortably/safely in the ear, and have fallen out multiple times. The bluetooth functionality is mid/low quality. My audio device settings required constant updates because sound would stop, or not work in all applications if connected to a PC.The earbud tips are also low quality(rip easily) and have a unique shape so you have limited options if any break or are lost.I am disappointed in this purchase.Pros:They charge quicklyThe charging case is small.

Jabra is the goods
Picked up this refurbished pair for $61. Had a pair of 65t’s and was more than happy with them until the left one would not hold a charge any longer. Though these 85’s have been out a while, I like the compact design, the fit, and the function button layout. The tiny nibs on the 65’s buttons were a pain. These buttons can also be programmed to your liking. The oval output port was a bit of a head scratcher but it is twice the size of the 65’s and…well… bigger is better right? With the correct size pads ( opt for the largest ones that cover your ear canal for the best deepest reproduction playback) these cover all the bases of the soundstage regardless of genre. The NC feature works quite good, and the battery power is excellent. Use exclusively with Amazon Prime Music. The HD, Ultra, and Atmos formats all sound killer. The Jabra app meshed seamlessly with these. Gettem!!
