Very cool

I bought two. Worked as advertised with nice varied bold 1to 3 color laser images. I just used the Auto mode. I shut off the power to the device with a timer which erases all previous custom settings. This was an oversight in design. They expect the unit to be always plugged in and hot.But I did not care and worked around this operational quirk. Not a cheap plastic housing. But sturdy aluminum. The stand design is not as robust as the housing, but it is sturdy enough. But it could be on a longer mount that connects to the tapered post for insertion into soil. I predrilled the soil with a 5/8" concrete bit before I tried inserting the mount into the hard packed soil. That made the setup almost effortless.I guess one could adapt a better mounting scheme if needed.Overall I liked it and threw out my old pair of laser projector lights.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't bought one of these in years. Mostly because the ones I did buy weren't anything like this one. Very well made. And the choices of displays are incredible for the cost.I set the light about 20 feet from the front of our two story home and it lights up almost the entire house exterior. Also can see the lights in the windows too, and inside the living room, and in our bedroom. The cats are intrigued with the lights they see in the living room. I plan to buy a couple more of these. The display that passes by the house even illuminates up in the trees, which gave me ideas for and even cooler Christmas display at our home.Merry Christmas

So I might not use this the way most people do I have a few of these around the yard hooked up to a dusk to dawn sensor (it cuts the power during daylight) as a result I prefer devices that actually keep the same mode that it is currently on when unplugged. This one does keep the timer mode (off) but every time it's unplugged it reverts to Auto which is quite honestly awful (slow, jumpy, etc) so if you use anything that unplugs the device during the daytime hours and you don't want to have to use the remote every day to put it back to the mode you like look elsewhere. Aside from that this is great it's very low power and very bright if it had even the minor amount of internal memory so it would keep modes when unplugged this would be a solid 5 stars but for my use it's a three and a half as it's replacing a device that required me to push a button on the physical device it's a step up but not a big one. There's really no excuse for it to forget every time it's un-plugged. But at least when un/replugged it doesn't revert to being on a timer 🤷

The media could not be loaded. I did not buy this item to project a psychedelic Christmas disco on the side of my house. I ordered it after searching for several hours for something that would create a firefly-like effect in my trees.To be fair, this doesn’t come close to mimicking the trees pulsating with fireflies that took my breath away in the Philippines. These lights are green, they don’t have the signature gentle pulsing fade in and out, and the projected movement that very roughly mimics that is way too fast, even at the slowest setting. BUT. I’m in love with this thing. It creates such a magical vibe in the trees in my backyard, even if it doesn’t look real. I can’t stop looking at it.There are other, string lights that are actually intended to look like fireflies that more closely match the color and movement of the real thing. I ordered one such set of lights on individual wires to be placed in the desired shrub/tree. But this effort posed multiple challenges – I couldn’t get high up enough to get it where I wanted it, the wires weren’t nearly long enough for the type of spread I needed – not even close. I tried stretching them out over some shrubs, but they felt too small even for that, and then I realized they’d be a nuisance whenever the shrubs needed to get trimmed. I’m sending them back.This is the closest I could find to what I want. I hope that this company or another will make a projector that is meant to look more like a fireflies- without the dizzying holiday options that make me worry I might have a seizure when I accidentally click through them on the remote. Also it would offer a much slower setting. Until that superior item is released, though, I’ll be in my backyard entranced by my amphetamine-dependent, imaginary firefly friends.

This item did not come with a manual. The product support page tells me to consult the manual, but that is of no help without a manual. I don't know how to find a manual online.

I bought two of these to supplement the Poeland, which is a relatively poor excuse for a laser light projector I purchased initially. See my review of the Poeland for more details.This projector is much more dynamic, with exciting patterns and color schemes. It has good coverage and produces a very nice light show.The remotes didn't work right out of the box. It could be batteries, but these are on a timer, so it's not an issue for me.

Product arrive quickly. Pulled another box when I got home today. Plugged it in started playing with the controller. It has a lot of different settings.Easy to start great direction. Easy to use, highly recommend this product. It's worth the time to shop. Around, I can't believe I found this deal. I would definitely buy from the seller again, and probably going to buy a few more. I have a very large yard. The outdoor use of the product makes great sense depending on where you live
