Letters are easy to use and very pretty letters
I used these to stamp on quick setting cement for stepping stones. They are very easy to use and the letters come out very sharp and neat. I have used other letter stamps that had different letters on each side and those were confusing to use. I like that these are one letter per stamp and that they don't have a border so the letters come out very clear and neat.

Great for 1.5" letters pushed into cement.
Great size for stamping or embossing letters into setting cement. I cannot say they are perfect, because I had to trim the extremely long, decorative ends of the letters so that they were clear and distinct pressed into cement with variable size aggregate in the mix. Without trimming the letters, some could easily be mistaken for incorrect letters, because the long tips stretched to within a quarter inch of other parts. We learned from the concrete installer to use PAM cooking spray as a release that would not affect the concrete strength or color. He was absolutely correct! Spray the letters with PAM, and press them into the firming cement, and the letters come out clean and leave clearly defined letters. Once fully dry, no oil stains were visible.

Great for stepping stones
These worked pretty well with our stepping stones, but it can get tricky if you only have one of each letter, so plan your design accordingly!

Perfect for concrete
These are perfect for concrete. They don't have a back so they don't make shadow impressions. Each one has a little paddle handle attached for easy use. Hard plastic works well in wet concrete and holds up well to the abrasive and caustic concrete. I've found the best imprint comes from mixing just a little wet, then leaving stamps in as it just begins to set. This of course takes a little extra attention when certain letters are needed more than once per cast. By doing initial impression, then moving to next spot and letting sit a while, then returning to previous spot for sharper stamped image.I wish there were more sizes and fonts available. The number stamps are same size a capital letters, so they tend to over power lower case letters visually (caps and LC bought separately). I bought a different maker's set for numbers, and the size is more to my liking, but the stamping/stamps are no where near as good for concrete.I've made 15 memorial "stones" so far and these are holding up great.

Not so easy!
I’m trying to press into poured concrete. Not suitable for my projects. Too wet and the letters aren’t clear. Too dry and you can’t form a letter.

Exactly what I needed
I wanted to make a stepping stone with my daughter for Mother’s Day and these worked perfectly to spell out her name. I also ordered the lowercase set to include the numbers. They were a bit larger than I was expecting, although they ended up being the perfect size for the stone. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, and will be using these every year to make a new stepping stone with my babies.
