Woodlink Window Glass Hangar for Bird Feeders Model WL13207

I have these on other windows and decided to add more under my porch. I have poles set up for my bird feeders but wanted more options to spread out my feeders. These hold my hummingbird feeders well in all weathers. Just be sure to clean and dry glass before using them. I have found that a little saliva on pads helps. A trick I learned from another user is to rub your finger on forehead then on pads before adhering to glass. Press hard then after a short while hand item. The hangers hold well.

This is my second Woodlink window hanger. The first one lasted many years before the suction cups wore out. If I'm home and know that there will be a severe storm, I'll take the feeder off the hanger, but the hanger stays secure. I position mine upside down (open part of hook facing up). I've found that this keeps my feeder more secure in the hook during windy days. The hanger is sturdy enough to support a red-bellied woodpecker, or sometimes 5 sparrows at a time.

Works great for the humming birds feeder. Gets up to the mid 90's and down to the -40's here. Holds up great in all weather conditions.

This will hold our hummingbird feeder to our window so we can watch them from our chairs. It will hold oriels as they drink from the hummingbird feeder as well!!! Those oriels push it to its limit when 2 get on and begin to fight, but it doesn’t fall off the window or break!!! Great auction on this holder!!! I find after a couple of years, the suction doesn’t work as well but we live in a very cold area in the winter and hot in the summer. This holder is the only one I will purchase as it lasts longer than the others.

Easy to hang up and seems very secure. Working well with our “pagoda” style feeder from Wild Birds Unlimited, which is nearly 7 in wide. I also like that it is made in the USA.

Be careful when installing that you do not put any pressure on the hook itself.

I am really surprised that this product works as well as it does. I wanted to hang a feeder outside a second floor window and we have a historic house with shutters but new storm windows so there was no way to mound a screw-in feeder. The self rated weight capacity is 4 pounds and my feeder + food is just under that. To my utter astonishment all I did was slap it on the window and voila! The birds love it and I love having them so close to my study window. And our squirrels can't get it. [Update 10-JUL-2013: The squirrels figured out how to get to it and knock it down and broke a number of feeders on me. I am using a black bungee cord through the triangular hole and attached to the shutters on either side to keep it from falling to the ground. I think one of the reasons that it was working for me earlier was also that the bottom of the hanger was snug against the joint between two storm windows and that helped brace it up. My squirrels would kick-off the feeder when they heard me in the room which put enough pressure on the hanger to dislodge it. However, I am still very happy with the hanger]
