For filtering finesse...
These are the Best coffee filters, because they Do Not break and make a mess like Melita and other brands do! And, if you're feeling lazy and want that 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee, you can just add more coffee and pour more boiling water on it, no problem! And what's more, you can make magical dancing ladies in dresses out of them with pipe cleaners for bodies! - just learn how to on YouTube!

great
use quite a few if these a day, great deal for 600 of them and they work perfect in my pour-over glass #3 filter holder.. the #3 filter are a bit too big for it.. no nasty taste in my coffee with these brown ones at all.

Great Filters
Have used these Hario filters for years and they have never let me down. Such a mundane product should not deserve the time it takes to write a review, but these filters are worth it. They never impart any unwanted taste to the coffee and never break open during use. Recommended highly for all coffee lovers who use pour-over filters.

I've been using these since before they had tabs.
I'm not sure how many years it's been, but a little history if you're curious:At some point Hario changed their filter manufacturing--something about moving to new facilities or equipment. The new filters compared poorly to the old filters. They were much slower, and thus for the same process ended up with over-extracted coffee. You could tell the old ones from the new ones because the old ones were tabless, while the new ones had the little tab that helps you separate the plies of the folded filter. My impression has been that they fixed the new filters, and I am perfectly happy with the performance of the new filters. I'm not sure if it was a paper issue or a manufacturing issue, or if my process has simply adapted to work in the new world. I used the last "old" filter years ago, so there's no way to do a direct comparison.

High quality filters for hario v60
These filters work well for a size 2 hario v60. Draw down doesn't take too long, around 3-4 min for 20 gram, 16:1 pour using Hoffman's method. I like these unbleached filters because I don't like the idea of left over bleach chemicals leaching into my coffee. I don't notice any papery taste from the filter. Cost is reasonable if you buy in bulk, about 5 cents a filter.

Best filters
Great filters that don't fall apart during use. Filters fast too, but no particles in the cup.
