Very nice pot/ dutch oven.I only cooked a couple oftimes with the GuideCast DOFirst was french fries, and second was biscuits. Still learning temps and handling.Both cooks were good. I used really old charcoal that burned out quickly so will update with a longer cook if I remember.The lighter weight is really great especially when moving around outside.Comes unseasoned and needs a good scrubbing and wash before oiling and seasoning. See my 12 in guidecast pan review for my method. I seasoned on my Weber charcoal grill for this pot and it came out great after one seasoning. Continued use will make it better and better.Comes with a stand nothing great, there are better ones out there if you want something else. I used included stand with the flat part down and tips up and had no problems with it on a camp chef DO table.I like the size plenty big and can be used on a stove which makes it versatile.Need to cook more on it to really get a feel for it.Biscuits were great, can flip lid and use as a fry pan when needed.
