A very well made and useful metal toned rake.
I've been looking for a metal tongue rake for a several months, not really liking any that I saw at Big Box home improvement stores.I chose this rake because of the ability to make the handle long or short and I'm very glad that I did. With all sections attached you can really reach underneath bushes to pull out the rubbish. For quick raking in the yard, removing one or two sections makes it very easy to handle. The tongs are strong and do a great job of pulling lots of leaves dirt and other debris without leaving much behind. All in all, this is simply a very well made rake.

67.5" handle (max) + 6.5" tines-head = 74" TOTAL LENGTH; heavy for a rake
Current title of item erroneously claims " 78" Long Handle", but it's only 67.5" handle plus 6.5" tines-head (so 74" total length). It's a high-quality item, esp for $15-20, as far as i can tell without using it (after easily constructing the parts), but I've decided it's too heavy for my wrist and for my roof gutter guards (I was going to use it for raking foliage from my roof, especially the mesh guards over the roof gutters). Difficult to find a lightweight small-width rake with handle longer than 66" (like the great multi-use one I own from my local hardware store).Description states around 2.33 pounds (by recall). Maybe that could be good if you're raking heavy items??If one is infrequently using this on the ground with two arms as most rakes are used for, the weight probably won't be so much of an issue for one's wrists. Orthopedic kinesiology important to consider when using this item: could be a good upper-body workout OR could cause carpel tunnel syndrome, wrist sprain, back strain, etc; I'm older and smaller, so definitely don't need more musculoskeletal issues to try to heal from. If you're under ~25, big, healthy, strong, ergonomically correct, not highly dependent on your wrists--esp fine motor--in your career, and need a long heavy rake, maybe it's ok for occasional use?

It will take it
I put the rake to work cleaning up under a big tree. I was hard on it. Didn’t brake a the rake . Good rake.

Very versatile
Multiple extensions allows you make it a good fit to your arms or make it really long for reaching difficult areas

Built well
I've purchased 2 other small rakes, different company and tines break off. This one so far is great! It has a couple more times and I love it.

Handle is secure
Thought that screw-together handle would be junk, but it's actually pretty stout.
