Tenyo (DP-027) Disney Stained Glass Alice in Wonderland Jigsaw Puzzle (1000 Piece)

As a puzzle enthusiastic I really enjoyed this one as it was quite challenging (I never look at the picture on the box). The colors are vibrant, the pieces are precisely cut out and sturdy and the end result was satisfying!

The plastic pieces snap together really well (one can even carefully lift the puzzle by the corners after it is assembled), and the picture looks amazing. Photos do not do it justice. It is vivid, beautiful, glossy, and individual puzzle pieces are barely noticeable. It is not a see-through puzzle like some of the other Tenyo puzzles are, but it is made of plastic with a beautiful gleaming glossy finish.Also, unlike in some puzzle artworks, the arrangement of the objects in this picture is very artistic and thought out. It doesn't feel like a meaningless collage of related scenes the way some other puzzles' artworks do.Highly recommended! The package is also fairly unusual and has some sort of brochure included.

Beautiful high-gloss plastic-piece puzzle. Arrived very quickly. I enjoyed working this one and it would make a great gift for someone who enjoys working puzzles and would look nice framed and hanging on a wall. However, I was under the impression when I ordered that the pieces were clear plastic to let light through (thus the name stained glass puzzle). They are not - the pieces have a white plastic back that does not let light through. So while the puzzle is beautiful and resembles a piece of stained glass, it does not let light through to allow hanging on a window. That being said, I will definitely still order more of these puzzles. I think the high-gloss plastic pieces are worth the extra charge (and no puzzle dust!)

This is a gorgeous puzzle, though quite expensive. It would have been nice to know it was plastic ! It is not written anywhere in the ad. I must say, plastic pieces do have some pros: they do fit nicely together, you do not have any torn pieces problems, and the completed puzzle looks already glued together with a nice glossy finish. The down sides: I find the differences in shape harder to see, and above all your usual puzzle glue to mount it on your board will not work. So to put it up on your wall, you will have to find another kind of glue or double sided tape to fix it on its support.

Great puzzle made with plastic pieces. Truly get the stained glass effect when you put light behind the pieces. Perfect for any lovers of Alice in Wonderland.

Great colors. Good difficulty in assembling. Love the laminated pieces (not plastic). Japanese product (no English on product box) with limited other puzzles to purchase other than Disney pictures. Unfortunately, too high-priced for most puzzle lovers.

no problems but it is not stain glass like it said , you can't see through it like the others. It has a solid backing on it.
