Q: whats the purpose of this blog if no alpha 100 expert answers the question?

I have had mine for about 4 years. What do you want to know that you could not glean from the answers of a GPS forum or the device directions? The Alpha device works pretty good.

Q: How do I see the miles the handheld has traveled?

Q: Alpha 100 & tt15 you set geofence you can get the collar to tone if to close but can you get it to shock if it still goes pass the line anyway??

The geofence feature is a user designated boundary and does not involve automatic stimulation, and is an audible or vibration alert to the handheld only. You can still send stimulation or tone signals to the collar anytime you wish as long as you are still in range.

Q: 1) no collar?? none shown 2) this basically tracks where the dog is if wearing collar? and does collar need charging? 3) What is voltage

Collar must be on and synced to controller to show. It will track where the dog goes , speed, and distance, The collar has to be charged with wall charger or auto plug adapter.
