Nice quality plug-and-play unit that is so satisfying
I've been using this for the last week or two and honestly, it is a top notch product. I don't get where others are saying "3D Printed" - I own two 3D printers and this is NOT produced on a 3D printer. As a matter of fact, you can feel the seam running down the face of it from the mold. But beyond debunking that claim made by others, this is just a nice piece of equipment. I was actually thinking of buying a real Eaton Fuller shifter and modifying it, but the time and parts and headache, say nothing of the cost, this just looked close enough and honestly, it is. For the price of going for realism and converting versus just getting this and have a plug-and-play, there is no comparison - this wins out easily. The value for money is spot on - so worth it.It mounted easily on my Moza H-shifter, I plugged it in, went into the options on ATS and was up and running in a literal minute! If you are a sim driver and need a shifting knob for trucking, this is it. And the extra thumb button for the engine brake (or whatever you want really - but seriously - put the engine brake on it!) is just so satisfying. I honestly was using a sequential shifter and got tired for cracking through each gear, and wasn't ever even using the engine brake. Ooooohhhhh, I was missing out! I love this thing!

Improved shifting for trucking sims
Fairly easy to install physical hardware and use in game (American trucking simulator). Top doesn't stay screwed tight to the base that came with it and occasionally the switches don't register in game (some of those may be poor shifts but not all). Overall does improve shifting.

Does not support Linux, or rather didn't ;)
I bought this on a wing and a prayer that it would be compatible with linux, I'm a huge ATS nerd that happens to play on Linux via steam-play. I searched forever for a mid-ranged shifter to mount to my G920 that supports Linux and found nothing. I bought this hoping some generic HID driver would bind the shifter and it'd just work. I was disappointed when I rushed home from work on my lunch break to try it out and it didn't work. So, why the five stars? Because as I sat at my desk considering returning this I thought about how I wasted my money, and along the lines of wasted money my mind was brought to the tens of thousands id borrowed to go to school... For computer science. And so naturally, I spent the next two days learning more about the Linux kernel space, and cobbled together a module that binds to this shifter and successfully presents it as a game controller. After making some udev rules ATS immediately recognized the shifter and allowed me to map it and use it as intended. Now, my driver is far from perfect, ATS treats it as an Xbox controller and thinks it's got more input capabilities than it does and tries to use it for navigation in the menu. This may just be a Linux quirk, but I plan to try and fix it.I'm going to do some code clean up and documentation work as time permits, once I'm done I will release this driver to my github and update my review with a link to its repo.If the manufacturer is reading this and would like to advertise Linux support via my module, you have my permission. It's licensed under GPL and I have plans to make it extensible to support other shifters from other manufacturers insofar as support is requested by the manufacturer other user.

Works with TH8-S Shifter also.
I purchased to give my ATS and ETS2 experience a better feel and man did it deliver. The company sent out immediately an I had it the next day. Set up is all plug an play. I have the TH8S shifter (cheaper one). It's black and red opposed to the Upgraded Silver TH8. The screw in the TH8S shifter is a star head. So get ready to go on a mission if you don't have a little tool set with the adapters in it. Although they do send you a tool with the shifter after you get your other one off. It's a hex versus star though. It comes with 3 or 4 different rubber grippers you insert over the chrome shaft the insert the aluminum adapter over the rubber and screw it down. Screw down the shifter an plug it up. Once you get on the game it'll read where the input wizard is at the top. Click on the ➕️ and make sure it's there that's to activate it. Scroll down to H set up. Range is shifting thru all gears. If you use the pre sets like 13 18 itll get tricky. But after go over to controls and set it up. Make sure you click the box to enable it to switch mode with button. Watch videos on The Tube also to see what I'm talking about. It's super easy set up. Definitely recommend. This is what you been needing fellers!!! This does the same as the others. Ignore the diagram on it. Play with the range options and see what's best for you ? All in all solid 10 !!
