Great display case! Arrived in perfect condition and just what we needed. Custom service was communicative and kind too!

It was eash to mount the house on the base and curl a couple of the LED's together to light the house windows. LED color is more white than the photo shows, more like stars above the house. If you want to light your craft, this is a perfect way to do it, totally hassle free. The switch in the base seems sturdy enough, and the LED cord seems durable enough to withstand handling. Wonderful!

There are a few defects (light scratches) in the glass dome, which stand out even more if you turn on the lighted base. By the way, the included batteries were dead. Hint - If you don't plan on using the lights in the base, remove the batteries. Leaking batteries could damage a tabletop.Since the dome is glass, no two will be the same size. My internal dimensions: center height 4.46", dia 3.38" (113.4mm x 85.8mm).

It was well packed and delivered in good condition. It looks so cute once it has the lights inside and the glass material is great.

Overall I do like this piece but it has a couple of pain points for me. The first is that the led power switch is located at the bottom of the stand, which I know is in the description and it wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't for paint point #2. The second issue I have is that the glass dome simply sits on the base. There's no securing it meaning you'll want to set it up once and probably leave it there for display.... except if you want to turn the light on/off or have to change the batteries. This means you will need to handle the display piece more often than you should. This could be fine in many cases, but it's a pain if you'd rather not handle a delicate display piece of you can avoid it.As for the build quality itself, its good but the led strip is just a cheap copper wire with a few lights on it and a battery compartment with a switch at the bottom. You could get the exact same piece without the leds for half the price from other sellers, so you could very easily put one of these together yourself (and with a rechargeable battery) for less.Anyway, I will be keeping thid unit and will make my own adjustments to secure the glass and add a more convenient switch on the side, but I strongly feel that these should have already been designed this way.
