Not sure if the application of this product worked...or the hazing of the coyote...but the neighborhood coyote has not returned for the last 7 days after application. When you are desperate for a remedy against coyote visits because of your outdoor animals...this product offers hope! Does not work to deter raccoons or skunks...but I find their visits tame compared to the fact a coyote will eat your dog cat or hens. I will be keeping this product stocked at home. Yes it does stink but its not the worst smell in the world. I wear triple vinyl gloves when I'm spraying it. Try it out. Its a good product. I have plenty of experience with this product to know that it absolutely works to keep coyotes away!! Do not be swayed by any of the negative comments. I have never had a coyote come on to my property when using this product with freshly dipped scent tags! I have many cameras so I know what I’m talking about. I take this issue very seriously as I learned the hard way. My girl was ambushed by 4 coyotes on my property when I first moved in. I was beyond devastated, and had planned to buy a crossbow… The sales associate at Bass Pro suggested that I purchase wolf urine instead, and so I did just that. I do not let my cats outside. However, in the event that one sneaks out, I spray my yard, and dip several of the scent tags and hang them around the outside of my house. We have a lot of coyotes in this area and I have not seen one step foot onto my property or even onto my street after spraying along with hanging the scent tags. Do not hesitate to purchase!!!

I bought this product based on the majority of positive reviews it got but my experience was quite the opposite. I live in the Southern California foothills and have had coyotes jumping into my yard at multiple points. I sprayed the product at those points as well as a few others and reapplied every week for 5+ weeks, but the coyotes kept coming.They not only didn't "flee" or "want to be far away" as the product description states, but showed up more often and began to aggressively mark their territory all over my yard and house. It seems they smelled a competitor rather than an apex predator.Does it smell nauseatingly bad? Absolutely. But the claim that this product will send the coyotes running stinks even more. I should have sent it back when I had the chance.

I bought this to keep a juvenile bear, cats and racoons from my chicken coop (lost 3 of 6). I used exactly as directed plus a little more and I lost more chickens (2 of remaining 3). I am not sure, what this does keep away, as I am sure it works on something, just not what I needed it for. I am not returning what is left, as I believe, if I use it, I need to pay for it.

Going on 4 years using this product to protect my backyard from coyotes/bobcats....ect and it works folks! About 4 years ago, prior to finding out about wolf pee, it was late at night and my little Boston Terrier all of a sudden jumped out the dog door barking like crazy. I flew outside behind her bent down to pick her up and as I stood up a very large bobcat or junior Mountain lion jumped off our palm tree over my head pass the fence and down into the bushes behind my house. Scared the **** out of me! Coyotes , bobcats,...ect have been an issue on the hill we live on. Thats when I ordered wolf pee for the first time. Please make sure to follow the instructions on the website to insure your perimeter is properly sprayed and maintained ,specially after rain or watering you will have to re-spray. I have not had the problem since I started using the wolf pee. I do use half a bottle for one use, I get about 2 uses out of one bottle and I live on a typical small lot close to neighbors. So if you have acreage to protect your best bet would probably be to get the hang tags or solid form that comes in jars, or contact the company for advice. It gets expensive but so very worth it! My neighbor leaves her little 4 pound dog outside barking all night and I'm pretty sure if it wasnt for the wolf pee I spray to protect my owndogs her little dog would probably have been snatched up by now. I absolutely recommend this product!

I was surprised that my delivery came so quickly, but the packing was not secure. I brought the envelope packing in my house and left for a few hours and when I returned, there was a horrible smell. I cut open the package and the urine had spilled. It was pretty disgusting to take everything out which had urine all over. I'm hoping this will deter coyotes from my yard and keep my Chihuahuas safe. The smell was the worst thing ever, which I'm thinking if a good sign! Be sure to wear gloves and old shoes as I threw everything away after spraying since the smell will stay with you! I think this was a good overall buy, just had issues with the packaging!

My wife and I bought this product last year hoping it would keep a bear that had been seen in the campground we were staying at away from our campsite. While we did not see any bears last year (maybe it worked?) what it did work against was something even better, rodents! Specifically, ground squirrels and chipmunks. These little buggers are a royal pain in the neck, getting into everything they can and generally being unafraid of people. We sprayed this around the campsite before setting up our camp and watched as the little buggers stopped dead in their tracks while they were sprinting to our site when we shows up. The would turn and run the other way when the got close enough to smell the urine. The spray was good for about a week and after reapplying it lasted seven more days. One word of caution, it attracts dogs, so don't expect fido to stay away as something about the wolf pee they like. Strong odor at first, but Dissipates after a day.

Wolf Urine was recommended as a possible solution to keep a coyote out of my yard. Since spraying, I haven't had any problems. It's simple to use; keep the bottle in the plastic bag, insert the sprayer and use. Obviously you don't want to spray anything in the wind. Grab a pair of gloves and you're good to go.
