The Sufi Path of Love: The Spiritual Teachings of Rumi

I doubt there is another author who explains the theology behind Rumi's couplets. I bought it precisely for the same reason. Couplets definitely lose their sheen when translated in English but it's the context of that couplet wherein this book scores brownie points. You understand Rumi's philosophy and not just his poems. I was impressed enough to buy another book from this author on Ibn Arabi - Sufi Path of Knowledge which is in a prose form and my current read.

Definitely wonderful book it is, an apt analysis of Sufism with fascinating concept of How should be the relation between the creation and it's creator Allah SWT. Beautifully written with logical concepts and reasoning. Amazing thought provoking book.
