Subaru Front Tractive Tow Hook for 2005-2024 Outback Legacy Impreza Forester - 57801AN00A - Genuine OEM

Needed additional toe hook to tie down my kayaks, fit perfect and cheap enough.

Will work well when I use it in tandem with the towing hook that came with my 2025 Subaru Forester. I plan to use both towing hooks as front and rear tie-down points for two kayaks that will be transported on Subie's roof rack system.

This is an exact replacement for the Outback hook. I don't know why they only have one place to attach these retrievers.

Perfect oem tow hook replacement or spare. Check in your trunk, next to your spate tire before purchasing. Most Subaru have a tow hook in the spare tire compartment. I have and extra now because i did not check. I did hook up a tow hook ring and love the way it looks. Oem products and strong enough to pull you out of a ditch without damaging your car. To install, just carefully remove the tow hook door cover, line up andAnd it screws right in.

I got this product for my 2021 Subaru Forester as there were no other options available that I found for my specific vehicle elsewhere on Amazon, now I realize that the product listing does not mention 2021 Forester will be generous with the review. For those who have the 21 Forester should know that when you screw in the bolt into it’s respective bolt holes they do not line up straight and tight as many others have it, but it is rather offset and tilted one way about 45-60 degrees personally I don’t care but for those who want a flat look for when they add the D clip/hook I wouldn’t recommend because it will stay loose if you try and keep it flat or you’ll stop the treads. So with that I gave it four stars not because of what I said earlier but for those adding the D clips should know that it the hole in the bolt is a bit big making the bolt to clip connection have a good amount of play, which isn’t an issue personally but just something to note for others.

Just what I needed to attach the D tow hooks in my 2022 crosstrek. A must buy if looking for one!

Perfect fit for my 2021 Subaru Outback Touring. Living in snowy northern MN, we keep our tow hooks in year round. We drilled out the tow hook cover for permanent installation. I once owned an Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV. One winter night I hit Ice and slid into a ditch. I could not get out myself, but I was rescued by a good Samaritan with a jeep who wrapped a cable around the axle and pulled me out. There had to be a better way and when I read in the January Subaru magazine about how you really ought to have a tow hook, shackles, and tow strap, I remembered my earlier experience and assembled my rescue kit. I am not looking forward to using this product, so I feel comfortable admiring its quality.
