I bought this to try on a cheap Manhattan SX FreeSat box I purchased on eBay. The box was cheap as it never had an adapter. The box needed 12v and the official adapter was over £20! I thought I would give this a go and if it never worked I could always keep it for other adapter emergencies.I opened it, used the tool to turn the dial to 12v and then selected the correct size of plug for the FreeSat unit.Plugged it in and it worked with no issues!I have kept it plugged in and even after several days it is still working flawlessly. It doesn't even get noticeably warm.Definitely a handy adapter to have around the house. I might buy another as a spare for other things.Really impressed!

The ability to adopt voltage and fittings make this an ideal extra power supply or as was the case for us, an affordable replacement against a costly OEM item.

I had not heard of the brand, but this is an exceptional piece of kit.Attachments are sturdy - unlike "leading" brands I tried and returned. I especially like the right angle feature as this makes cable breakage at the weakest point in the cable almost impossibleRuns 100% cool at all times (digital radio is 1Amp @ 6v)NOTE - polarity cannot be reversed

Product worked well for 1-2 months but after that the tip part broke and was unusable. Its has broken off at the connection point so it is unusable with any of the other tips too. Worth it for a quick use and if you're going to use it rarely, but long term use its not suited for.

Easy to adjust power and plug, easy to usePlain and simple.
