Sometimes less is "More"
The media could not be loaded. If you want a simple slimline warm color led picture light (it's more 2700k looking)-that has super easy hanging hardware, is discreet with it's camouflage white cord (no boxy or round thingy above the light bar) ...this is the one. Moreover,if you want a picture light that can be plugged into an outlet that is controllable by a wall switch, THIS IS THE ONE! The other picture lights out there that have the fancy remote and the fancy dimmable switch on the cord WILL NOT allow you to utilize a wall switch that controls an outlet. It's seems like the picture lights that have the dimmable on /off switch (on the cord) over rides the wall switch dunction that is connected to an outlet. You can turn off the light at the wall switch, but it won't turn on again unless you use the cord switch. Defeats the purpose of using a wall switch connected to an outlet.Understand my goal is to turn on ALL my bedroom lamps -with one flick of a wall switch. This- no- nonsense picture light allows me this function. That's why I title my review, "Less is more".About the color of the antique brass: it's really more of a grey- dirty gold color. Not a golden brass color. So if your frame is a true brush gold color, this picture light's metal will appear darker in color. See video.

Beautiful and affordable
I wish we could dim the light but it’s beautiful and looks lovely from the street. It shines just enough light over the canvas. It was easy to hang. Highly recommend it for the price!

Have an 24inch by 30 oil painting ,simply put it needs to be brighter. Tried all adjustments but just not bright enough.

The light is too white - much less "warm" than described. Ugly.
I used this to illuminate an old oil painting. Unfortunately the bright white color is ugly, and makes you look at the lamp rather than the painting. Not warm, too concentrated in one spot, just not good.
