Augustinus Bader The Cleansing Balm

Love all things Augustinus, and this cleansing balm is so soothing and gentle. I have extremely sensitive skin and this product is perfect. I recommend all products by Augustinus, thank you!

This balm's texture is not unlike the ThenIMetYou cleansing balm which is 50% the price of AB. It's decent enough and I will finish it but it does leave a tangible, thin layer of residue (think... emulsified vaseline) that makes it hard to know if you have rinsed it all off - I would recommend a second cleanse after using this product. If you like AB products you'll probably be fine with this but I find, after trying 5 different hair/skin products, that they all leave this residue-like finish so I don't think the TFC8 is for me. Takes makeup off fine and seems to do okay with clung-on sunscreen (I have some hardcore, waterproof SPF).

Based on the smell, this product seems to be expired.

This product leaves my skin smooth & hydrated. I have dry, sensitive skin. It’s fragrance free and did not irritate my skin. Recommend!
