Great quality, easy to program
I am very pleased with this lock and handle. Nice heavy weight to the hardware and it is very easy to program and use.

Seems well made, but just buy it new!
In a nutshell:Seems like a nice piece of hardware, but ordering a "like new" unit on Amazon is hit or miss these days. The smart module did not work and it was missing the handle. Probably a good buy if it works, but for my purposes I'll stick with Quikset for the convenience of their smart key feature. The good:-Very hefty build-Nice menu options (speaking you through the setup is pretty nifty)-Overall, seems to have a nicer finish than the Quikset smart lock I haveThe bad:-More difficult to install than other smart locks. It's not rocket science, just a bit more finicky to tuck the cable without pinching it.-The smart module had a broken pin, rendering it useless-My unit did not come with a handle-The keypad was occasionally unresponsiveI purchased this lock to see if it was worth using over Quikset. I tried to sync the unit with my Smart things hub, which is when I realized the smart module included in the unit was defective. The lock itself is a beautiful piece of hardware and feels good in your hand, and I'm sure it would be great if it worked properly. Overall, the build quality is much nicer than the Quikset unit I have, but for the added cost and hassle of returning, then re-keying the replacement, I'll stick with what I have. For the record, I'm not sponsored by Kwikset- their hardware has their own issues and I definitely preferred the feel of this Yale. If you were already planning to re-key your home I would probably purchase new units of this Yale lock.

Works with ring
I use this with my ring app and feel better knowing it shows on the app when someone locks or unlocks it. Great compatibility to lock the lock and arm or disarm the system with code on keypad of lock. Ability to remotely unlock the house is helpful for guest and babysitter.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
My lock was set up on my side door of my home. If it is daylight-forget about it- your unable to view the numbers due to glare. Nighttime is ok.Lock did not set up with the app. I was unable to ever use it with the app. After paying a handman to properly install it and spending a week trying to figure out why it wouldnt connect to the app, I called and was connected to a customer service station in Haiti or somewhere where, although the woman was lovely and polite, I could not understand anything she said.I am trying to return it but the Yale store on Amazon is not allowing returns.ROYAL PAIN IN THE BUTT!!
