EGO Power+BCS1000 Chain Saw Bag 14'', 16'' & 18'' Chain Saws, Bag 14'', 16'' & 18'' Chain Saws, Black

The case works really well for my Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ 16" Chainsaw together with extra battery and charger. Unfortunately, original manufacturer doesn't offer any carrying solution for the saw on this market. I tried couple more universal plastic box type solutions, but wasn't impressed with the size. I was looking for something more compact, sock like fitting case. I got couple orange style fabric covers to try from amazon, but the quality was quite poor and despite much lower price none of them was a keeper. This one, on the hand, is nicely built, high quality well padded case with removable plastic pan at the bottom to catch any chain oil leaks. Extra pockets to carry chain oil, spare chain and extra wrench for adjustment are great features. Mayb be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Excellent chainsaw bag.

I bought this bag on a whim because I just upgraded my EGO kit. I was pleasantly surprised when the bag arrived because it was even better than I expected.The bottom of the bag has a plastic tray to catch any oil or debris that falls off the saw. The sleeve for the chain and bar can be folded back and clipped to the bag is you have the bar removed. The front of the bag has a lined pocket for a bottle of chain oil, and there is a zippered pouch on the rear of the bag for an extra battery. Nice!I am currently storing the EGO 16" saw in mine, and it has plenty of room inside. Chainsaws tend to ooze a little oil from the chain lubrication system during storage, and this bag will allow me to store the saw without worrying about that.Highly recommended for EGO fans. I would buy again.

This carry case seems very well made. That said in my opinion, at nominally $80, it is a bit high priced. It has a plastic tray in the bottom that serves to keep the bag open and collect any oil that may leak from the saw. There is a small plastic lined pouch on one end to store a bottle of oil. On the other end is a pouch to store an extra battery. The case has the ability to have the part that accepts the bar and chain to be folded against the side of the case and clipped in that position if you want to remove the bar and chain for a smaller carry bag. There are a few pockets inside the bag for the wrench and perhaps a chain tip gear oiler.All in all I would buy this again, even at this price. I wanted something to protect the saw from damage, and to protect the vehicle when we have the saw on board. I do not like it when the carpets soak up bar chain oil. This case will do all of that and many more. I would recommend this to anyone with the note that it probably should cost about 1/3 less. But all EGO products are at the top of both the market and prices for similar equipment.

I needed a better container for the chain saw than the original box. :-) This serves that purpose well, having room for the saw with OR without the bar and chain attached. Without the bar and chain, the long pocket wraps around and attaches to the side, making a compact bag that fits on a shelf or behind the seat of a truck. Removing the bar is preferable so you can throw the bag around without worrying you'll bend the bar. (There is no stiffener in the bar pocket.)The bag also has a plastic pan at the bottom to catch oil and sawdust. The zippers seem sturdy.I was a bit disappointed that the pocket at one end wasn't quite deep enough to completely contain a battery, and the pocket at the other end isn't quite deep enough to completely hold a quart of the EGO branded bar oil. (Which I recommend, by the way.) But the items do fit deeply enough to not fall out.SO while it's not perfect, it fits well enough. I expected a bit more for the money. Overall I'm glad I got it, but it adds a lot of expense to the purchase of an EGO chainsaw.
