Q: Are the "lets air in" complaints due to operator error or a design flaw?

Wrong bag used. Some people are accustomed to using textured/embossed vacuum bags, most household vacuums work with textured bags, and this vacuum is designed for smooth flat bags(chamber pouches, mylar bags) . There is a complaint with a video in the comment area, it can be clearly seen that he is using the wrong texture bag, because once the nozzle retracts from the embossed bag, a little air would goes back to the bag from air channels on embossed bags. Therefore, bags with smooth surface are recommended.

Q: Continually gives me "error" when sealing. Have to unplug and plug back in several times before itll seal. What do i do about this?

Contact the company via their Facebook page. Mine does the same thing and they gave me a full refund. In the back of the book it tells you the exact name of the Facebook page.

Q: where do i find a users manual?

I googled. No pdf. And the YouTube video i found was not in English. I've never had one of these and its useless to me without proper documentation. Pitiful customer support not putting a manual with the product. Ill send to email above, but if no response in a very short time, I'll return it
